It’s a special week. We went to Chicago and stayed there for a week. Transportation in United States are mainly cars, and almost everybody has a car. But we don’t and that’s why we took the Megabus and spent six hours to go to Chicago. It was the coldest day of the week when we got off the bus. The sky was covered with black shadow and the wind was strong. But the following day was good, the weather is great for traveling.

The famous spot for Chicago, The Millennium Park. The huge face on the left are animated.

The river is green and clean, quite the opposite in my country. Most cities in U.S., as far as I concern, are quite clean and lots of natural environments are reserved. Quite a nice trip on the first day but we had to spent the next few days to visit all kinds of firms which I didn’t interested in. And what’s more, I will need to upgrade my skill on photographing.

Did you know that on St. Patrick's day the River in Chicago gets dyed green, it's quite a sight.
A lot of green dye gets thrown into the river =).

    And for something off-topic,
You're from China and studying in America, am I right, I just found your blog not too long ago.
Your English is pretty good, you haven't lived in an English-spoken country before, have you?
What kind of study are you doing?
It seems you're enjoying your time there though, I wish I could do something like you do, the travelling part that is =p

Thanks for the comment. Pity that I didn't have a chance to see that beautiful scene. It was my first time in Chicago.

As for the off-topic thing, I lived in China and it was my first time visiting other countries. I majored in Finance but I don't interested in the topic; currently considering changing the major. Glad that you like the site and I'd love to bring more stuffs.

BTW, are you American and do you travel a lot?

Finance major, that's a relative safe one, there's always work if you'd do a finance study.
Great how you can do partially in China self and a part in the US, at least that's what you're doing right?
But yeah, I'm not American, I'm also Chinese but I don't live in China however.
All the way in Europe, The Netherlands, it's a pretty nice country but nothing much to see or to do.
And if I travel a lot, well not at all, haven't been beyond the borders of Europe =[, might go to China next year for 2 weeks.
It's too bad not many people are commenting here =], it's a good blog, and I always check my RSS feeds ;).

Best of luck with your new Major =]
