2D Girls ChannelMay 7, 20102D Lingerie Shots No.133by YoU 643 days ago Finally arrived at China and the first thing that remind me of this is the delay of entering the boarder. Quite some time has been spent on the inspection of a visitor coming from South Africa who complained that he was stopped by the officers every time since they did the inspection locally but the passport he got is international standard. Well, this is not a cold joke but what’s happening in the country. And about the trip, it’s energy consuming and I haven’t slept for 24 hours. Enjoyed movies on the aircraft is fun but the limit space was really killing myself. At last, everything seems fine and I found myself almost perfect in adjusting to the China time zone and guess will need more time to sleep.Second thing reminded me of coming back to China is the control of media. The first time I opened out the site and found that there’s a big blank area in the sidebar. Thought for a while and came to the conclusion. Yes, Facebook has been blocked for a long time (since born?) And the same conclusion came to Twitter (and even Tweetmeme). Not sure about the inner function of the Facebook and twitter social media buttons but they should render the beauty of API. Guess even API was blocked in this area (can API be blocked?). That’s actually a good thing which reminded me the beauty of localization. Guess more time has to be spent on exploring how to provide different contents/templates according to areas. Will be the next MUST in the list.Back to the topic. Long time since the last post of the series. Scan by Satoshi Goma (ごまさとし, Circle: Studio Gomasenbe) Really nice illustration as used to be. PS. Wonder how many of you will watch the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.
711May 7, 2010 Not at all a fan of soccer so FIFA and everything that goes with it’s logo carry a “must avoid” sign attached to it… yes, some might think it’s weird coming from a Brazilian but hell, everything about my persona reeks of foreigner around here, so not liking to kick a round object around doesn’t suit me as much as the next carnival celebration. Also, pretty picture. Having had a couple failed attempts at digital coloring (both Painter and Photoshop) on my belt I can surely appreciate a well done skin tone and shading… my tablet starts cowering in the corner of my desk when it remembers those attempts ¬¬Reply
SnowMay 7, 2010 @ 711Not liking football and carnival makes you unique in a way =p. I’m not really a football fan either however I do enjoy watching during a carnival but not at participating. Same thing goes for anime cons, never been to one but it seems fun to however I wouldn’t dress up.@ YoUI’m going to follow The Netherlands, hopefully they’ll make it through the first few round. If NL would get into the semi-finals or even the finals the streets will be dead and my town will probably be a ghost town during those matches. The thing I’m hoping for is a final between Germany and The Netherlands, seeing that it has been quite a while and the rivalry is felt very strongly here. Are you going to do a weekly update with pics? That would be fun, showing the western readers some tints of China. How long are you planning to stay?Reply
YoUMay 7, 2010 @711: Never tried digital drawing before and will never try it in the future. Guess I am just scared to see what the final work would be. The 2014 World Cup will be held in Brazil and wonder if you will change your mind at that time @711 & Snow: I myself am a fan of soccer but would much prefer to play rather than watch. Seldom watch matches on TV but the World Cup is a must.@Snow: Good idea of posting pics about China. Will try it sometime next week. I may stay for three months before the start of the new semester.Reply
