Anime ChannelJune 5, 2010Angel Beats! – 107by Snow 613 days ago Tenshi’s new hand sonic, version 5! Isn’t it just eery? Still though, we might get to see Tenshi sprouting wings ^_^. Enough about Kanade, this episode is about Yui and her past. Before Yui actually died, she got hit by a car and got paralyzed. She was unable to do anything at all but watch TV and aspire to become a singer, a football player,a baseball player, a wrestler and finally a wife. It’s up to Otonashi to grant those dreams for her, bringing some hilarious moments and also some tearjerking ones. Yui was never my favourite character or anywhere near it, she was that characters who was always trying to be cute but is also somewhat a tsundere. Altough she can sing very well, the seiyuu’s voice singing voice doesn’t quite match Yui’s character imo. I wonder when the Gdemo album comes out =). Otonashi is able to grant all of her wished expect one… getting married. For less than a second I thought Otonashi would give in and say that he would marry Yui.. Suddenly though, Hinata comes into play and tells her that he would marry her, no matter what. He would’ve met her in the past live, because of baseball. They would start talking and he would visit more often. Even though Yui is paralysed, Hinata doesn’t care and the relationship between the two would probably evolve from friendship to love. 愛 See how happy Yui is with Hinata? It made me completely forget about how Yui actually is and always snares at Hinata. This episode is such a tearjerker :’(. However, a beautiful ending nonetheless <3. 幸せ
YoUJune 5, 2010 This is one of my favorite episodes of the series. Yui and Hinata is really a fun couple. Wonder how Hinata will be when he decided to help Otonashi.Reply

SnowJune 6, 2010 @ YoU, it’s one of my favourite episode too, I loved the one with Iwasawa and the past of Otonashi. I can’t really choose which of them is the best. It’s so amazing that KEY is able to pull something like this off with just 13 episodes. It’s just.. amazing.@ Saix, funny thing is though that the two that bickers a lot are the two that usually get together. I’ve seen this in lots of series, you’d think they won’t match but somehow they do. Yui and Hinata’s time spent together has been so short =[.PS: YoU, have you received my email? I’m not sure if I send it correctly. Or could it be that Google is blocked by the Chinese government and proxies don’t work =p?Reply

Having a proxy app around is definitely needed if you decide to live your life here.

SnowJune 8, 2010 Indeed, it was a happy ending, however what Yui had to endure in her ‘life’ was really sad though. It didn’t make me cry but I did feel a lit sad and depressed after watching it.
