Ano Natsu de Matteru: Original Anime Announced3

A brand new original Anime titled Ano Natsu de Matteru (あの夏で待ってる) was announced according to the cover of the latest issue (Vol.137) of Megami Magazine. The nice illustration that takes the whole cover page is done by Taraku Uon (羽音たらく), who is also the character designer of the series, together with Yosuke Kuroda (黒田洋介) who wrote up the scenario.

Being a bit familiar with the character design? You probably have seen some of Taraku Uon’s work some time before, like Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins. Thus, you may have a similar guess that the story should have something to do with romance and love. Take a second look at the illustration on the upper right hand side, you might notice a flying creature. What it is? We have no idea

Some folks might also have a Deja vu since the title of the series is somehow similar to the one that we used to see: Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない, We Still Don’t Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day).

So far, we still have no idea what format the Anime will take but the possibility of a TV Anime is still high. Stay tuned and we will bring more updates.
