AQUARION EVOL: Brand New Anime Series Preview0

The announcement of the TV Anime of series AQUARION EVOL (アクエリオンEVOL, Akuerion EVOL) was back on February 25 this year as a sequel to the series Genesis of Aquarion (創聖のアクエリオン, Sousei no Akuerion), which aired from April to September back in 2005 (TV Anime). As for the story of the new series, so far there are no news or leak about it. For folks who haven’t watched the original series before, the series is about a giant fighting machine called the Aquarion which is humanity’s only effective weapon in the fight against the technologically advanced species called the Shadow Angels in the future.

Back to the new series, it seems to feature a classical pattern of one male and two females which is quite popular somehow. We can see lots of examples like Macross Frontier. And the character design we see on the official website is quite good and the two female protagonists also looks attractive, even though I am not quite sure about the quality of the Anime after watching the PV below. Anyway, it going to be a quite nice series follow its predecessor.

The staff list was announced on the official Twitter a while ago and we do see some names that we are familiar with. However, the series is still under process and the date of the air has not announced yet. Stay tuned and we will bring the latest news for it.
