Bakuman. taught me a lot about the manga creating process. Bakuman. 3 continued to do that and the art quality didn’t change at all when it is compared to its past 2 seasons. I honestly lost interest in the series around the second half of the second season due to me picking up the manga. I would have loved it a lot more if I didn’t see the twists and turns coming. The challenges the two main characters faced kept getting better and better. I would literally celebrate with them when they succeeded.
At the end of the 26th and last episode of Little Busters! a preview of Little Busters! ~Refrain~. There have been many rumors about a second season and it is apparently Refrain. Refrain is a scenario that is unlocked in the Little Busters visual novel when all the 6 herione scenarios are completed. Sadly, the preview did not give further details to when Little Busters! ~Refrain~ will air. The official twitter account for the show has asked the fans to wait a little longer for details.
Last year’s seasons all really impressed me, but looking back at this season I realized that I only watched five shows. Well, let’s admit it, this season was awful. Most of the shows failed to capture my attention and were just plain boring. There are actually a lot of shows this season, this is due to all the three minute shows and because a lot of shows being continued from previous seasons. The members of this site: Grizzly, ThaiMyShu, koitsubaka and I will be giving our final impressions on shows that we completed and even shows that we dropped.
Clannad ~After Story~ is currently the second show on my top five favorite anime. I literally laugh and cry my heart out every single time I watch it. The story is just so touching and amazing, I can’t even explain to you how much of an emotional roller coaster it is. I love all the characters and I really do wish the supporting cast had appeared more in the last couple of episodes. I recommend this to everyone!
Tamako Market is one of my favorite shows this season. It just brings me a lot of joy every week. It never fails to make me laugh with the characters. I’ve always wanted to live in a small community where everyone knew each other and were practically family, I think that’s why I love this so much. The people of the shopping district sure know how to make someone feel welcome, I really would love it if I walked up somewhere and got showered with delicious food.
Weekly Shonen Jump reveled the name and release date of the second Gintama movie on Monday. The title is Gintama: Kanketsu-hen – Yorozuya yo Eien Nare and the movie will premiere in Japan on July 6, 2013. The movie will be an original story written by the Gintama manga creator, Sorachi, Hideaki.
Toki o Kakeru Shojo is my favorite anime movie to date. The art is simple and compelling and the music is perfect. The characters and the romance aspects were all very engaging. Makoto Konno the main character, really did grow on me. Her decisions through out the movie pissed me off though and she proved that power changes people. The only thing that I really didn’t like was the ending.
According to Master File Blog and Kadokawa Shoten’s Newtype manga magazine (known for Kobato), a new TV anime called Fantasista Doll will be airing this July. This will be a science-fiction and is about dolls who can fight and use power cards. A manga adaptation will be serialized in Newtype before the anime adaptation airs. The show’s staff includes Saitou, Hisashi, Taniguchi, Goro and Kato, Hiromi.
Hyouka is my favorite Kyoto Animation show to date. The three arcs were pretty diverse, slow paced and quite detailed. I thought the characters were going to be classic stereotypes and pretty one-dimensional. Every single one of them proved me wrong. The animation was superb specially when they capture Chitanda’s eyes. To put it simply, I really did enjoy this, the characters really did spice up the show.
Kodansha has announced yesterday that the Fairy Tail anime will end on March 30, 2013 as of episode 175. Other sources include Televi Magazine and Jump SQ. Hiro Mashima, Fairy Tail’s mangaka, has posted the following message on his twitter account today: “Until the time comes, I cannot say something I’ve always wanted to say, even on Twitter. Please be patient and wait until the time comes for me to announce some good news.” Any ideas about what this could mean?
