“Angel Beats!” is a widely known and well liked Anime about children who end up in an afterlife, all of them having gone through terrible childhoods. In this world they are given a “second chance” to relive their high school days and make their souls feel at peace with the world. However, though I must admit I enjoyed watching this Anime, I did find there to be a few plot holes or problems I simply could not understand or accept.
ShoukoChan is a collection of modern and fashionable Anime T-shirts that launched in July 2013. The project originally started when I was looking for a Date-a-Live T-shirt back when the series (season 1) was airing. I was really into the series then (My favorite character was Kurumi). Some designs are available, but they screams too much Anime for most to comfortably wear on a day out. Full body prints T-shirt from Japan looks great, but it is definitely not in trend with the conservative Anime culture where most of us live.
Looking back to the first season of Kyoto Animation’s Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! I recall the cute, eccentric and unique characters that have now come back for season two. To me, it seems as though the first season of Chuunibyou just came out yesterday (okay, maybe not really). Regardless, it’s hard to believe that the first installment of this series aired nearly two years ago. After initially anticipating yet another painful harem series, I was very pleased to watch Chuunibyou gradually transform from a peculiar slice of life to a fun, romantic comedy.

The ninth issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine which is set to come out on the 30th of January is going to confirm the Joujuu Senjin!! Mushibugyo, the Manga of Hiroshi Fuduka is being adapted into TV Anime. I’m not a follower of the Manga but after seeing the little Anime commercial for the Manga in 2011 I have to admit that my interest has been peaked.
“Everyone knows who Steven Spielburg is, but does everyone know who Mamoru Oshii is?” I take a quick look around, and notice a slight bit of confusion on some of the attendees’ faces. “Man, we don’t know who’s directing stuff don’t we?” I may have thought, and that reflected on me too because I was green at the time and didn’t know who Oshii was. So now pose the question to everyone here: how much do you want to know about your series?
Almost each shrine in Japan celebrates a festival of its own. As a result, there are innumerable festivals in Japan. Called Masturi in Japanese, most of the Japanese festivals are held annually to celebrate the deity of a shrine or commemorate any historical or seasonal event.
The transition has left clear impacts on Japanese society, culture and economy. Rapid urbanization is crowding out traditional villages in many places. However, it left no dent on legendary cordiality of Japanese people. Japan is the safest place to travel alone or with family. Best attraction is of course the historical places. They are too many; we’ll see top few.
