The movie of Anime Kara no Kyoukai finally comes to the last episode. The DVD of the last chapter Kara no Kyoukai Movie 7: Satsujin Kousatsu (Part 2) (劇場版 空の境界 第七章 殺人考察(後)) has just released recently and finally fans like us who don’t live in Japan have chances to enjoy this masterpiece. I’ve long been interested in TYPE-MOON’s works, especially the novel written by Kinoko Nasu (奈須 きのこ).

It’s a shame that I didn’t noticed until today. It’s an official news, check it out here. And at the same time in the January issue of NewType which reveals that a new manga (Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (コードギアス漆黒の連夜)) of the series was announced. Not sure whether the manga has any relation with the coming new projects, but I sincerely hope that the project will an Anime instead of comic or novel. Before we go for the recommended Anime of October 2009, I’d like to talk about the overall performance of the Anime of the month. I was not interested in most of the Anime of the month in the first place, and then after quick view of the first episode of several Anime I realized that there did exist some nice ones. And it also appears that most of the Anime of the season have lots of cute girl characters.

Watched the Anime of the series a few years ago but have just finished reading the Manga recently. The story between the two version is quite big a difference and cannot help talking something about. The series was created by Akinobu Uraka (有楽 彰展). The first thing to talk about is the female protagonist. It’s really difficult to define who the heroine is. According to the whole story, Ruri (ルリ) will definitely be the heroine. She is the one who Rumina (留美奈) fell in love with in the first place of the story. But according to my understanding, Rumina only think Ruri is cute since the story doesn’t focus too much on this part which turns out to be difficult in convincing readers about the reason that Rumina and Chelsea (チェルシー) go down to the Tokyo Underground to rescue Ruri. And my claim is proved to be reasonable as the story develops.

I should have known it a few months ago. One of my favorite writer or novelist Takahiro Yamato (山門敬弘) passed away on July 20 2009. Some of you may not heard of Takahiro Yamato before but you might have already known one of his masterpiece Kaze no Stigma (風の聖痕). Say goodbye to the respected writer and say goodbye to the novel of Kaze no Stigma which “ended” at Vol.6 and will never being able to continue. Princess Lover! (プリンセスラバー!) is one of the expected Anime among the 2009 Summer Anime release. Four heroines in the series (who remind me of Saber, Rin, Sakura and Rider in Fate/stay night ^^) are cute and the quality of the Anime is acceptable. The latest episode of the Anime is two and all the main four heroines were introduced. Pretty interested in the story between Teppei Arima (有馬哲平) and Seika Houjouin (凰条院 聖華); in the Fate/stay night story that is Shirou (衛宮士郎) and Rin (遠坂凛)^^

Second alternative ending of Anime series CLANNAD (the first one is Tomoyo’s). Personally like this chapter very much, even than the Tomoyo one. Kyou (藤林 杏) is the closet girl to Tomoya and they have friendly relationship since the beginning. But their relation cannot move further. The person standing between Tomoya and Kyou is Ryou (藤林 椋), the younger sister of Kyou. One thing to mention. Would really want to watch a full CLANNAD series with Tomoyo or Kyou as the heroine ^^ If you are a CLANNAD fans or Kyou fans, definitely need to check out this episode.

About Canaan: I’ve mentioned about this Anime produced by TYPE-MOON a couple of months ago. Guess it should be the biggest bomb this month (anyway, all TYPE-MOON products are great). For sure, this is a MUST WATCH!
