Jitendar asks: In interviews and commentaries on anime discs, I often hear English VAs state that they like to be surprised regarding their characters and the story, which would be good if most of your work involved turning up to a booth, reading the lines, and relying on the voice director to guide the performances […]
Happy new year! It has been quite some time since my last post and of course, being busy cannot make the perfect excuse. In the following days without regular TV Anime, new TV Anime guide will be posted, in a more presentable way, and as fresh as this new year could be. As for goals of the year, well, let’s just say regular posts and maintenances will be made, as well as a new hosting to boost the overall performance.

ShoukoChan is a collection of modern and fashionable Anime T-shirts that launched in July 2013. The project originally started when I was looking for a Date-a-Live T-shirt back when the series (season 1) was airing. I was really into the series then (My favorite character was Kurumi). Some designs are available, but they screams too much Anime for most to comfortably wear on a day out. Full body prints T-shirt from Japan looks great, but it is definitely not in trend with the conservative Anime culture where most of us live.
With 2014 coming to an end, I cannot help but feel a bit nostalgic and look back at what we’ve done in the past twelve months. Barely nothing! It was an year of instability, slowness and climbing down. Looking at the new year, it would definitely to be another year or uncertainty, with a career in one hand and hobbies among other things in the other, it is time to balance and mix them for the best cocktail.
My school life in U.S. ended last week when I decided to head back to China, the country where I was born, yet the country where the center of all the conflicts buried under the peaceful surface. After spent the night at Doha International Airport and enjoyed my Beef Curry, I connected another airline, feeling like I was the only one in the sky. Dear airline, you should really arrange your flight schedule better to minimize the expense.
This is the latest redesign of TheAkiba since almost two years ago. Lots of things are changed and lots of new excitements are added. When I look back around five years ago when TheAkiba was first established, it was running on a free theme, and for most amateurs, we rarely pay for those premium themes or plugins since most of us won’t even need them. There are always free alternatives, and when you start to realize that everybody else is using the same thing as yours, it is time to rethink. So why not just create our own theme? Let’s stop here and guess I could come up with another few thousand words for my learning experience. But now, let’s just get more focused on the latest revamp.
