Chuunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai! Anime Announced

Synopsis: Togashi Yuta used to suffer from what is known as chuunibyou (8th grade disease). However he outgrew this phase in his life when entering highschool. But it was there where he met a strange girl named Takanashi Rikka who happened to be inflicted with chuunibyou. Yuta is then forced to make a contract with her.

Recently, we have noticed an increasing number of use of Chuunibyo in series, and male in most cases. Probably the author this that the male protagonist at least has some kind of “illness” instead of having nothing but silly personality in order to be a male protagonist. It’s a good move and at least we can see less Harem but better plot. The airing date of the serie has not yet announced, stay tuned and we will bring up the updates.

any relation to higurashi no naku koro ni? or are my ears just playing tricks on me?

There's no connection . There's no way 7th expansion will bother with something like that .

Why do a lot of anime girls have a white eye patch XD

I believe that this might come in handy for people wondering what Chuunibyou is : Chuunibyou (中二病), or "Middle-school 2nd Year Syndrome", is a colloquial and rather derisive term in Japan which describes a person who is around fourteen years old who either thinks or acts like a know-it-all adult despite being a kid, or who has special powers no one else has. Some of them even go as far as being obnoxious, arrogant, and often look down on adults or older people.

agreed...i know a lot of people like that ... kinda annoying.
