Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch Movie Announced

This is the most exciting news this morning. According to Yoshitaka Kawaguchi (河口佳高), the producer of Code Geass of Sunrise, a movie of Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch (コードギアス反逆のルルーシュ) was announced. However, by the information we have on ANN indicating that the project is described as a “Dream” project which in our understanding can be something subject to change in the future. However, despite the uncertainty, we did see changes and hopes after the long long wait. And according to the producer, the movie will be for the Hangyaku no Lelouch series and not for Boukoku no Akito (コードギアス　亡国のアキト) which we reported early this morning. So far, no other information was released but it’s always good to see the return of Lelouch.

Despite the promising news, some fans are concerning about the story of the movie and whether or not it will be as legendary as it’s predecessor. Stay tuned and we will bring more updates on this topic once available.

i think the movie will be a way to clear out that lelouch is really dead, thought i was kinda hoping he would live too!

I am happy they are making a movie. I want Lelouch and C2 to be together alive out in the country. I really want a definite answer as to Lelouch being alive or dead. The movie better give an answer. I get tired of the debates so time for the authors intentions!
