Full Metal Panic 4th Season Not Coming, New Project Starts28

I will wait even another 10 years for the production of this T__T

Hopefully, we will prevail in time to get a 4th deserved season just too many things left open ended with Second Raid that only teased of what's to come. I'll keep checking from time-to-time.

I really hope they decide to make a fourth season, everything is already set up. 1) Leonard Testarossa's not done yet 2) Sousuke and Kaname's relationship took a great leap 3) Sousuke finally got the lambda driver working and got to show it off. >however the last battle of FMPSR was not a battle worth Sousuke's time 4) Sousuke's finally opening up to everyone There's plenty more but you get the point. I feel the same way about Code Geass but that is another situation

SHOW US THE KISS we've all wanted to see since the beginning of the season, this anime is so popular and the story is solid i love it so much, why cant u bring what the fans want to see !

I am going crazy waiting for years for another season of Full Metal panic to come out. How I wish they would hear the fans' request. I want the characters to be still kaname and sagara. If not that would be another anime for me not FMP. Anyway, the last episode of The Second raid showed new characters. The one sneezing at the rooftop. I was wondering who that is. And in fact, it is just in this season I've seen Tessa's brother whom tessa and kaname had been discussing at the season I so how come they will not make the season IV, the last season seems to tell that something more is to be watched. And fans are waiting for that.

Huhh this sucks. It has been over 6 years now since SR. I heard somewhere that the author was waiting till he finished his Light Novels but that was done in Nov 2010 I think. I am just going 2 give up hope.

This is one of my favorite animes so I am very disappointed. I would read the light novels but I can only find poor translations...sigh. Can anyone point me to a good source for finding all of the light novels? Thanks ahead!

That sucks because if the ova is the final episode then I'm not satisfied.

I do hope they eventually come out with a 4th season with the original characters in it. Then I hope they make a series of the new light novel but that may be asking too much. At any rate, a new season with the original characters is what I need.

In the new project... the one set 10 years after... are they still going to use the same set of characters, with the main still Sousuke and Kaname?

Oh well the whole series was a lot of fun while it lasted... I still watch it even to this day over and over and I will never get bored or sick watching it even though I literally memorized every characters lines work for for. A little disappointed though 'cause I really wanted to see the reset of it in anime and not just by imagining it on the light novels or reading the manga. At the least I've read the whole series twice already and still gives me tears. I won't spoil anything though :D

@YoU:twitter "will not be a 4th season of the season" ^^ typo --- ...and what a big disappointment :( FMP! stuff comes my way so sporadically (and that is "gray area" stuff... I would be 50 before being able to acquire legally FMP! the complete package in my neck of the woods) that no matter how much I enjoy the characters and the plot everything looses most of the fun. I think it's time just to move on while fond memories of Tessa still linger on the corner of my mind, these repeated delusions are starting to get to me. Time to go watch FMP:Fomoffu again I guess.... the 4th time will make it funnier I bet ^^
