Fullmetal Alchemist Movie: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi0

If you are a fan of the series, you probably have already noticed that there will be a movie coming this July 2nd. Titled Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi (劇場版 鋼の錬金術師 嘆きの丘(ミロス)の聖なる星), the movie is a side story of the original Manga version of the series. Check out the official website for more trailers though I worry about the quality of the movie a little bit after watching.

And our new female protagonist Julia Crichton, voiced by Maaya Sakamoto (坂本 真綾), was titled “Miniskirt Girl” in the magazine preview.

As for the story, Random Curiosity has a detailed introduction:

On the onset of the story, a man named Melvin Voyager is nearing the end of his prison term in Central, the capital city of Amestris. However, upon reading a newspaper article, Melvin suddenly breaks out of prison. Taking interest in the powerful alchemy he used to do so, Edward (Paku Romi) and Alphonse (Kugimiya Rie) chase after Melvin towards the the neighbouring country of Crater, along the western border of Amestris. Near the border, the Elric brothers find themselves in Table City, a hidden town surrounded by mountains that was once known as Milos. There, they meet a girl named Julia Chricton (Sakamoto Maaya) and start uncovering Milos’ blood-smeared history.
