Blog ChannelJanuary 25, 2009Happy Spring Festival1by YoU 1105 days ago Happy Spring Festival! I guess few folks around may know what I’m talking about here so let’s have a brief introduction in the first place.Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is one of the most important traditional Chinese holidays. It is sometimes called the Lunar New Year, especially by people outside China. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first lunar month (Chinese: 正月) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Year’s Eve is known as Chuxi. It literally means “Year-pass Eve”.Oops, here it is, want to know more about Chinese New Year and Chinese traditional cultures, check out the Wikipedia. What is Spring Festival? It is the traditional start of a new year of Chinese people, or you may consider it as another Happy New Year ^^ But I think most of the people are quite getting know about China and her culture, not only in a economy perspective, but a worldwide realization. China’s population of Internet users is now over 298 million and has passed the United States last year to become the world’s largest. Just wonder how many Chinese visitors are poking around the site. But no matter whether you are one of them, I’d like to say, and to all those friends out there, Happy Spring Festival, and thank you for your support!
