Quick Look: Hunter x Hunter New Anime Adaptation Confirmed!17

Its getting high ratings in Japan, that means the only people disappointed are the one used to the old 99 version.

I think they have a very good reason for remaking rather than continuing hunter x hunter anime. The ending of the first anime is still hanging around, all the things and mystery are still unrevealed. In my opinion, they must have a good solution for those problems and make the new one is the BEST!!! Just pray for it!!!!!!!!! ^^d

excuse me guys...but i want to know what do you think will happen with Gon? now that he's grown up and sadly looses his arm in the battle with Pitoh. I really hope they continue the anime series. thanks

nooooooo i hope they start with the chimera ant arc because if they animate it from the beginning they will ruin it the old anime episodes were far better than the manga they had fillers that really added to they mystery and character development that is why the first 62 episodes were better than the manga , so even if the new anime series followed the manga it still wouldn't compare to the first .

From the info i got at ANN is it true that HXH will air this fall 2011?

i have a couple of questions: - is it certain that hxh will get a new anime? - what do you think is more likely: a remake or a continuation of the ant arc?

I'm still going to be skeptical that HxH will be getting a new anime series/OVA...even though I'm not one to be skeptical at all usually. A lot are saying they should do a reboot of the series, but I'd personally prefer them just to go straight to animating the Chimera Ant story..once it's finished. But I suppose they do have enough material for quite awhile to start up a series without need of too many fillers. I’ve watched the series and OVA’s around 4-5 times now within the past 2 years..a bit much in some peoples opinions, but I really do love the series that much. It doesn't really compare to any other Anime I've watched, which is a lot..not to brag. The first 62 episodes of the series just has a certain charm to it I can't quite explain. I personally loved the Chimera Ant story as much as the rest, so I hope they go through with it. If not, I'm just glad we're getting some new chapters.
