K-ON! Movie Roundup5

Recently we have received several pieces of news and related topics of the upcoming movie of TV Anime series K-ON! which will open on December 3rd in over 130 theaters in Japan. But for most fans outside of Japan, the BD/DVD release, in most cases, will be schedule around half-year after the premiere. In this post, we gather all the information to help fans learn what they want to know about movie.

The Story: London

If you still remember what happen in the last few episodes of the second season of the series, you would know that the girls were planning a graduate trip but haven’t decided where to go. In the movie, according to the introduction on the official website, the decision was made and all the five members go to London. So, we have a combination of several key words: girls, band, London, trip. What will come to your mind? Beatles! So, this is the suggestion by Mio and the girls draw lots and Mio wins.

However, as you can see in the movie poster, all the five girls are wearing winter clothes while they should have graduated around March. Well, March is still cold I think.

Music

When you mention K-ON!, you cannot fail to talk about the music. And this time too, according to Aki Toyosaki (豊崎愛生), the voice actress of Yui, the new songs are under process and the new CM which use the song will be released on September 3rd.

The Bad Thing: Riots in London & Disasters in Japan

London is not always a save place to go, at least not at this moment. If you put an eye on the news you will find how panic London citizens are now. Of course, we don’t think our female protagonists have anything to do with the riots but we just want our readers to know more about what’s happening around. Read more about the events here.

One of our reader Juan C sent me a pic of the earthquake happened in Japan this year. We have seen big disasters happened every year and in 2011, it was Japan that suffered the most. Let’s just pray for those souls that suffered.

The Preview

Where is the Third Season?
