According to the official website, the Anime adaptation of Kyoukai no Kanata (境界の彼方, Beyond the Boundary) was announced and will be produced by Kyoto Animation. Written by Nagomu Torii (鳥居 なごむ) and illustrated by Chise Kamoi (鴨居 知世), Kyoukai no Kanata is a Japanese light novel revolves around Akihito Kanbara, a high school student who was born between human and Youmu, met a girl named Mirai Kuriyama who was trying to jump from the roof. In less than one year after the release of the first volume of the light novel, the series now gets an Anime adaptation. If you heard of the series before, you won’t be surprised since it is that good. Check out the PV below to get a basic idea of how the series looks like, though produced in last year and far from the Kyoto Animation quality. We have Tamako Market ended last month and already heard of the rumor of a second season of Chuunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai. Will get back to all these when new information come in, stay tuned.
The story is about a high school student named Akihito Kanbara who was born between human and Youmu. One day he meets a young girl named Mirai Kuriyama on the roof top of the school as she seemed to be about to jump from there. Mirai is unique among members of the spirit world in having a “blood” ability and she has been fighting all by herself. Akihito sees a lot in common about himself in her, and he decides to help her. However, around them unsettling events start to develop.
