Light Novel Date A Live Anime Adaptation Confirmed8

According to Fujimi Fantasia Bunko (富士見ファンタジア文庫), Japanese light novel Date A Live (デート・ア・ライブ) was green-lit for Anime adaptation. According to the publisher themselves, they never thought of making the Anime adaptation so quick for the series. Written by Koshi Tachibana (橘 公司) and illustrated by Tsunako (つなこ), the first volume of the novel was just released in March. Synopsis: Itsuka Shido is a high school boy. On the last day of the spring holidays, an explosion destroys the town and a girl in armor appears in front of him. Shido’s sister-in-law Kotori tells him that the girl is called “Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit”, which causes a timespace quake. Kotori disclosed that she is the commander of anti-spirit organization Ratatosk and orders him to go out on a date with the spirit girl. Kotori says “I don’t ask you to beat the spirit. Just let her fall in love with you and save the world.”

Seems to be a fun series with some “serious” background setting but might eventually fall into the Harem genre. Guess the series is either good enough or Fujimi Fantasia Bunko has no other plan in hand. Anyway, will bring more on this.
