My favorite Skip Beat! ended recently at episode 25 though I thought it would last about 50 epside before. We don’t need to be sad since at the same time the Manga still continues and though no official news was announced we all know that the 2nd season is sure to come. In this post I’d like to make some review which I haven’t done for quite a long time and discuss something about the 2nd season.
I love, and love the works of Makoto Shinkai and if you do too, you have to get this album. It’s the Eminence Symphony doing an orchestral version of most of Makoto shinkai’s songs. Though it’s not really using all the instruments in an orchestra it’s still pretty darn amazing. Also added a mp3 version on request =), but you can’t get a higher quality than the FLAC version, by the way the FLAC version has booklets included. Happy listening!
We talked about this last week about the ending of the second season of TV Anime Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? and the so called big announcement to be made this week. Today is the date. According to the official website and the Twitter, instead of a third season or a movie, the Blu-ray Box of the first season of the series was announced.
According to an announcement on the official website of TV Anime series Mayo Chiki, a PV of the series will be played in the upcoming event Comiket 81. Not something very special but as you may recall what after all those PVs in Comiket 80. A lots of new series. People out there even able to get accessed to the PV and the rumor arise.
This is the latest redesign of TheAkiba since almost two years ago. Lots of things are changed and lots of new excitements are added. When I look back around five years ago when TheAkiba was first established, it was running on a free theme, and for most amateurs, we rarely pay for those premium themes or plugins since most of us won’t even need them. There are always free alternatives, and when you start to realize that everybody else is using the same thing as yours, it is time to rethink. So why not just create our own theme? Let’s stop here and guess I could come up with another few thousand words for my learning experience. But now, let’s just get more focused on the latest revamp.
Kodansha has announced yesterday that the Fairy Tail anime will end on March 30, 2013 as of episode 175. Other sources include Televi Magazine and Jump SQ. Hiro Mashima, Fairy Tail’s mangaka, has posted the following message on his twitter account today: “Until the time comes, I cannot say something I’ve always wanted to say, even on Twitter. Please be patient and wait until the time comes for me to announce some good news.” Any ideas about what this could mean?
The last episode of TV Anime Accel World was aired and we were quite satisfied with the ending. And as usual, we were able to see some clues of a second season coming. The ending was quite good and as promised, we were able to learn about the reason why Chiyuri became a partner of Noumi. The final episode did seem a bit rush and we can more or less smell a new season..
The transition has left clear impacts on Japanese society, culture and economy. Rapid urbanization is crowding out traditional villages in many places. However, it left no dent on legendary cordiality of Japanese people. Japan is the safest place to travel alone or with family. Best attraction is of course the historical places. They are too many; we’ll see top few.
According to the post on Mikatan’s blog, we learned that Toaru Majutsu no Index will take some moves within the year, while the new move of Railgun project remains a secret. To interpret these lines, we can tell that there will be a new project of Toaru Majutsu no Index coming this year besides the movie we mentioned last year.
Almost each shrine in Japan celebrates a festival of its own. As a result, there are innumerable festivals in Japan. Called Masturi in Japanese, most of the Japanese festivals are held annually to celebrate the deity of a shrine or commemorate any historical or seasonal event.
Final the series has came to an end, and finally this great album was (about to :)) released. It’s few days earlier than the official release date June as usual. Guess most fans were eager to have the album ever since episode 10 where the great track Ichiban no Takaramono (一番の宝物) was aired. Get it on Play-Asia or CDJapan.

It’s summer and we have loads of things to do beside swimming with your handsome friends. We have over 30 series this summer and around half are filled with BL or GL or even Loli, and guess it could be a unique season tailor to your special needs. If you are not interesting to watch Anime with only one gender showing up in the entire series, you are not out of luck. If you are like me who loves series with interesting stories, well designed characters and easy to follow, there are series like Servant x Service, second season of High School DxD and a whole 26 episodes of Monogatari series.
For those who are still in 2013, this is probably the last and best news for the year for SAO fans. According to the special episode Sword Art Online: Extra Edition aired yesterday on December 31, the second season of Sword Art Online was announced and will be aired in 2014. The official Twitter also confirmed that the new series will be a TV Anime.
The OP and ED of CLANNAD AFTER STORY (the second season of CLANNAD, one of my favorite KEY story) released on November 14th. The background music of OP seems to be one of the soundtrack of the O.S.T. of season one.
Now after four seasons spanning nearly six years, Zero no Tsukaima has finally come to an end, though I would hesitate to say that it has come full-circle. And to keep things timely, I’ll spare the nostalgic reflection and delve right into the analysis. As far as the final battle against the Ancient Dragon is concerned, it was all executed fairly well considering the quantity of agonizing twists, close calls and fateful encounters.
According to the official website, the third season of TV Anime High School DxD was announced. The announcement was also made on the cover of the 18th light novel of the series. Written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero, High School DxD is a Japanese light novel revolves around Issei Hyodo, a high school student who was killed and reincarnated as a Devil.
I should have known it a few months ago. One of my favorite writer or novelist Takahiro Yamato (山門敬弘) passed away on July 20 2009. Some of you may not heard of Takahiro Yamato before but you might have already known one of his masterpiece Kaze no Stigma (風の聖痕). Say goodbye to the respected writer and say goodbye to the novel of Kaze no Stigma which “ended” at Vol.6 and will never being able to continue. You can read more about the news on Fujimi Shobo (JP).
During the special premiere event for 3D movie of Kara no Kyoukai: Fukan Fuukei, a new Anime adaptation of Fate/stay night was announced and will be produced by ufotable, the same producer of another TV Anime Fate/Zero. The announcement was also confirmed by Kondo Hikaru, the CEO of ufotable. Fans could recklessly infer that the new Anime should more or less be another movie (or less likely, a new TV Anime) following Sakura’s route, i.e., Heaven’s Feel due to the fact the other two routes were already covered in TV Anime and UBW movie.
