Magic Tree

I don’t play a lot of games and most of the time, I think games on the iOS devices are just, for general public, which means they are of no fun. Angry Birds? Don’t waste your time. But there are few games that I actually quite enjoy and Magic Tree is one of them. Brought to you by Korea’s Com2uS, Magic Tree is a iOS based online farming game. It’s universal and you can run it on both your iPhone and iPad. You might just recall FarmVille on Facebook but if it is something like FarmVille on the interface, I won’t pay a second visit.

The first thing attracts my attention is the character design, and it’s probably all about character design for Japan and Korea games on the iOS. You can create a really cute 3D character and later on change the dressing, hair style and so forth. Of course, you will need a higher level to do it, so create your character very carefully. And the system seems a bit weird to constraint whether you can create male or female characters. The gender of the character you can create is limited to the account you registered with Com2uS. So, if you are like me, you will need to choose as female while registering with Com2uS.

Magic Tree

As the title indicates, you grow trees, magic trees. Sounds like something that really works for me and I love these kind of theme, probably because I am an Anime fan, like the rest of our readers. Start with a small land with lots of trees around, slowly as you level up, you are exposed to more opportunities to expand your land, plant more trees, crops and feed more cattle. In order to plant magic tree, you collect magic seeds from trees and mix them together.

Have read some reviews of the game on the web and some of them seem really don’t give it a lot credit. Maybe they just didn’t dig into the system or maybe I just like the game. Either way, it is a good game for me to play while taking rest. If you want to give a try, you can download it for free on App Store. Already a user? You can add me on Magic Tree with username kkanade.
