Movie Xi AVANT, An Another Eden of the East?0

Xi AVANT (クロッシイ・アバン) is a short Anime directed by Kenji Kamiyama and has its main voicers from the great series Eden of the East.

Short anime screened in theaters with the stereoscopic 3D conversion of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – Solid State Society movie. The story of Xi Avant is set in Spain and other locales in the near future, and it is tied to the NTT Docomo mobile phone network’s next-generation Xi service. (source via ANN)

Why compare it with Eden of the East (東のエデン, Higashi no Eden)? There are tons of sufficient reasons. Both series have the same director Kenji Kamiyama (神山 健治) and most of the voicers of the main protagonists are the same from Eden of the East, especially that we have the same Juiz voice (by Sakiko Tamagawa/玉川 紗己子) as the AI of the cellphone again.

Folks might get familiar with the character design above since they are backed by the same person Satoko Morikawa from Eden of the East.

After watching the PV, I felt like somehow wandering into a nice produced MMORPG. With the back of the producer and voicers from the previous well established series Eden of the East, Xi AVANT could be one of the big hit coming.
