New Layout Update!8

20090107001

Okay, what should I say? Nothing I guess but I have to. The layout you see right now is a complete (approximately) clone of Dannychoo.com‘s. May be you will say that I should make it 100% identical to Danny’s but my word is this is the end of the clone and I gonna built my site upon this theme. You might have noticed there’re some detail area (say, the related articles section) has been changed and this would be a sign of a tide of modification. Not sure Danny’s theme is under Common Creative Licese (while the Dannychoo.com Theme by TheAkiba.com is) but I’d like to built upon, basically because there aren’t many good themes (I shouldn’t say good themes but the themes that are suitable for my taste) outside you can rely on.

And about the new layout, what you see on the outside may be identical to the old one, but the code inside is tremendously different. I ran over the code of the mainly template files and clean lots of “dirty codes”, if you compare the CSS file with the old one you may think they’re totally different things ^^. I misused lots of em (font size) and margin tags and I’ve cleaned they up! This really makes me feel good (something like you have cleaned up your dirty room >_<).

And for the old theme (beta one) which you might have in your hands, I’d like to find some time to clean it’s code up and make it distributable later. Let me know if you like the new layout, or just some feedback and comments ^^.

thank you, I could do, now just missing a few more adjustments XD

hmmm ... I hope to be available ... not identical to his ... only this form of distribution of posts has helped as much ^^... if you could send me by email or give me any tips on how to leave the former looks like this today (ky0.halyson (@) gmail dot com). Note: I am not competing site ..... I'm from Brazil ^ ^

Sure thing :) I'd like to make the old one up to date

thanks ... for myself as I try to change something, you could tell me where I put the code and how to modify the latest articles to appear two columns. XD

That's mainly a CSS trick. In the CSS file, you can modify the "article-item" and other tags related to the featured (or latest) section (you can find them around the index template file) and change the "width" to around 350px, set the "float" to left or right. It's done.

Thank you guys/girls but I'm not sure whether the theme will be released. But I'll updated the old theme and make it identical later ^^

Would really much want this one! :)

wow ... very beautiful .... perfect .... you will make this version for download? please ^ ^
