Anime ChannelJuly 1, 2010Ookami-san – 1 [Pilot]3by Snow 587 days ago And so our summer season starts, at least.. mine started today. First show that I wanted to watch was Ookami-san. Why? Because this show could be the best of the season and I don’t know if the other shows have aired yet. Anyway, here’s a quick look into episode 1 of Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi. A lot of people referred this series as being ToraDora 2. Everyone, meet Ryouko (left) and Ringo (right), the first two characters of the show you will meet. The show also starts with a fight and some badass neko neko boxing gloves. Close-up of our fierce protagonist, she does look a bit like Taiga, doesn’t she? First episode and there already is a confession, way to go. Ryoushi x Ryouko Pyjama shot =D. The images are taken from the first quarter/half of the episode.. but there isn’t much to show in the rest of the episode. Nothing spectacular to show that is, just watch the pilot =). I truly do not know what to think of this show as of this moment. I really like the narrator, it’s Kuroko from Index and Railgun! Her voice somehow really fits this perverted girl character. Also she stars as one of the butlers in Mayoi neko overrun, amazing. On the other hand, as what I was expecting was Ryouko being a tsundere.. well she kind of is one. But the guy Ryoushi.. wtf.. =s..? The series focusses on fairy tales, you’ll see references to Little Red Riding hood and Cinderella, there probably is more but I don’t really know all that much of fairy tales. Overall, it’s supposed to be a romance comedy but more focused on the comedy side than on the romance side, it’s definitely not a ToraDora 2, we’ll see what episode 2 brings.

SnowJuly 1, 2010 It’s too early to judge indeed. Was the same for Angel Beats!, episode 1 didn’t make sense at all, it was until Iwasawa disappeared when the series became really interesting.
shane3xAugust 4, 2010 I really took a shine to her and then the show was like “Iwasawa disappears now” so early on and I was like far out. I had a look at the July Preview and honestly didn’t really see anything I liked but an individual ‘review’ for each show (like this) really helps me determine if I want to watch it or not.For this show, I do. Honestly most of the anime I watch is because I like the art work and then watching it it usually turns out to be great.
