Final Impressions: Ano Natsu de Matteru; Goodbye?3

Goodbye? Yea, well, as much as this is an appropriate one-liner for the finale of the fantastic Ano Natsu de Matteru series, it also marks the unfortunate the end of my anime blogging “career” (or hobby, rather) and my leave from TheAkiba. But on the brighter side, Ano Natsu has more than exceeded my expectations, and as the series finale will attest, it’s a beautiful love story.

To Love-Ru Darkness Anime Announced10

Still remember a month ago that we talked about the rumor about the new Anime adaptation of Manga series To Love-Ru Darkness? We were disappointed since the announcement had nothing to do with the series. However, as we mentioned, did you still have any faith in your mind, and if you do (or not), you will be happy to hear that the new Anime of the series was just announced today!

Kimi to Boku. OST on April 250

Kimi to Boku is a TV Anime series aired in fall last year, with a main focus on five high school bogs and their interesting yet heartwarming daily life. And guess most of the fans who watched the series would fall in love with the music. Performed by Shouta Aoi, the music attracted my attention right from the beginning.

Final Impressions: Zero no Tsukaima F10

Now after four seasons spanning nearly six years, Zero no Tsukaima has finally come to an end, though I would hesitate to say that it has come full-circle. And to keep things timely, I’ll spare the nostalgic reflection and delve right into the analysis. As far as the final battle against the Ancient Dragon is concerned, it was all executed fairly well considering the quantity of agonizing twists, close calls and fateful encounters.

Guilty Crown Episode 22 Review [Final]6

The end of Guilty Crown is here, managing to raise more questions than it answers and leaving many more unanswered besides. A rather rushed and surprisingly inconclusive episode ultimately leads us to a bittersweet, if not simply confusing ending. Fans of the show might be satisfied but to everyone else it is a disappointing end to a disappointing show, despite the promise the previous few episodes had shown.

Rinne no Lagrange Second Season and OVA in Summer0

My favorite series of the winter Rinne no Lagrange just ended today in Japan, leaving much more to expect in the second part of the series. We already knew from the beginning that the TV Anime would be splited into two parts, the first part started from this winter while the second part or the second season will be aired in this July. What surprised me is the announcement made by the official website today that an OVA is about to come on June 23rd in 10 theaters in Japan.

April 2012 New Anime Guide24

One week before April and half of the new series of this winter were ended, leaving the other half to be end next week. Some of the well received series like Zero no Tsukaima and Shakugan no Shana ended today and yesterday, Guilty Crown ended this week, leaving us much to expect in the coming weeks. As for the upcoming new season, we have loads of new series coming as usual. Since there are too many series coming out this Spring, in this post, I will just go through a handful of them (a handful still means 30) which I think is of high quality or popularity.

Guilty Crown Lost Christmas OVA Announced1

One of my favorite TV Anime of 2011 Guilty Crown was ended yesterday in Japan, with an ending which we cannot tell directly good or bad, or whether we feel happy or sorrow. We are more or less expecting something related to the series are coming and indeed there is. According to the producer Nitroplus’ announcement yesterday, a 12-minute long prequel OVA will be bundled with PC game Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas which is scheduled to release in the end of May.
