Anime ChannelAugust 2, 2011Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! Anime Adaptation Confirmed2by YoU 294 days ago Light novel Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! (パパのいうことを聞きなさい) was just green-lit for Anime production. The title of the series means “listen to me my daughters”, or “Listen to me, girls. I am your father!” to be more official, but both sound like a bit hysteria and Harem. However, according to fans who are familiar with the story, it turns out to be something like Usagi Drops, a more heart-warming one.The series is written by Tomohiro Matsu (松 智洋), who “happened” to be the author of Mayoi Neko Overrun! (迷い猫オーバーラン!), the super Harem series. Illustrated by Yuka Nakajima (なかじまゆか, Circle: Digital Lover), the character gives fan a feeling of Haruhi Suzumiya. The story revolves a 19-year-old college freshman who suddenly discovers that he must be the father of three girls who are not from his family: a Tsundere, a little demon and a small girl. The reaction of fans toward the series are somehow quite different. Some think it as a duplication of Haruhi Suzumiya (the character in the center of the pic) and some dirty Otaku dreams which is quite obvious when they use Papa instead of Father in the title in Japanese. Since it doesn’t change anything even if you increase the male protagonist’s age from high school to university. It will make more sense to you by reading the synopsis where ANN define it as “slapstick at-home romantic comedy”. But how the series will sure to be as an Anime, we will see.[Links: Source, ANN, Novel]
