Quick Look: Fate/Zero Anime Adaptation Confirmed, Coming October0

And finally, it comes. It is confirmed that the long waited Anime series Fate/Zero (フェイト/ゼロ) is coming this October. It was the third hit of the series after TV Anime of Fate/stay night (2006) and the movie of Unlimited Blade Works in 2010.

Fate/Zero is a prequel to Type-Moon’s visual novel Fate/stay night, written by Gen Urobuchi (虚淵 玄) and illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi (武内 崇). The storyline of Fate/Zero takes place 10 years prior to the events of Fate/stay night, detailing the events of the 4th Holy Grail War in Fuyuki City. The War of the Holy Grail, pursuing the power of the “Holy Grail” which grants a miracle, this is a contest in which seven magi summon seven Heroic Spirits to compete for it. In that battle whose conclusion was postponed three times, now, the fourth war commenced again. (via Wikipedia)

It’s good to finally see Saber still be voiced by Ayako Kawasumi (川澄 綾子) again. And for the music this time, will be performed by Yuki Kajiura (梶浦由記), the genius in the Japanese music industry. For those who cannot wait for October, check out the official website for more events coming.
