Review: Skip Beat! – Episode 2 + Opening Song Dream Star1

Sometimes I really think I am a fan of Shoujo manga. But, I’m a 100 percent male. What makes me think this way is that Shoujo manga is always encouraging, like Full Moon o Sagashite, the heroine Mitsuki did her best to be a singer, and this time, an idol.

The opening song Dream Star by the generous will be released on 29th. October. You can have a preview below (TV size, again…). The song fits the anime very much, encouraging people to look forward, as well as the heroine Kyoko.

Sometimes I really think Kyoko is an even girl (despite her looking, she’s only 16).

Kyoko meets Ren Tsuruga, probably the rival and friend in her later career, but this time, she only feels hatred and disappiontment.

Kyoko sits outside the building of L.M.E. production company.

Kyoko uses her crused power to influence the Sawara family. And finlly, they give up.

The second Kyoko meets Ren. What she feels this time, beside hatred, something wierd and stille unclear.

Kyoko decided to take the audition where she met two interesting people. The girl in long black hair and the little girl in brown hair. The little girl seems not to be one the the people took the audition. She’s probably the girl Sawara talked about.

The entrance of the owner of L.M.E. shocked/terrified all the people inside the audition room, as well as me.

The owner of L.M.E. seemed to be interested in Kyoko and noticed the deeper mean inside her behavior.

After seeing all those special talent from the competitors, Kyoko’s turn came. Knife in her right hand, radish in the other…for a cooking campagin? What Kyoko will do to impress the judge and the owner, I’d like to see.
