Music ChannelApril 27, 2010school food punishment 1st Album: amp-reflection7by YoU 652 days ago Was busying correcting and clean up the code of site, not limited to the theme. Tons of bugs were found and after several hours of work the site has now passed the XHTML 1.1 Strict Doctype. Very good news to me and was please with the job. Also have added some social media functions into the site, like the latest Facebook Like Button.Okay, let’s come back to the topic. The below is the first album of the Japanese band school food punishment. Guess most people like me initially knew this band from the Anime Eden of the East. Their first Single, or the debut Single futuristic imagination, was used as the ending them of the series and since then the band started their rock and roll all the way by the series. Love their unique way of singing since the first start. Check out the official website of the band to learn more. Will have a roundup of their tracks in the future. 711April 30, 2010 Hey!!! Just found out about this site/blog and so far really liking what you guys have rolling here.I will be blunt and honest and say that a few more content would be a plus (reviews and what not), but the music related stuff you guys release is just PERFECT!Please keep up the good work. Also, nice job on the theme, it’s refreshing to see designers working with different color templates…. now, if you could find a way to replace all this gray-ness on the background it would truly become perfect I know the green you used is not the easiest ever to settle with a more “present” bg, but I guess some alternatives wouldn’t hurt ^^Reply
SnowApril 30, 2010 I’m glad you like the blog, we are working hard and trying our best to write articles =). What kind of content would you want to see and what would you prefer to be left unseen? That’s one thing where I could work on, especially because I’m new to blogging. Theme-wise, I think it’s looking good too and I actually do like the background to be plain though =p. But there’s not much I can do on that area, It’s YoU (the founder) who actually goes about that =).Anyway, I and if I can speak for You too; we hope we’ll be seeing you around.
711May 1, 2010 Well, I think what I miss most here is CONTENT imo ^^ What you guys have is nice, but they come too far in between and offer few insights into the subject. I mean, need more trustworthy (and entertaining) writers blogging about recent stuff more often.I know this don’t come easy and that is why I will be around to see how you guys develop… as I said, the music stuff you post is a GEM and that is what will keep me around… at least until more stuff comes as well!Seen so many blogs come and go with 0 community around and I hope this don’t happen here… at least so far you guys have 1 differential that will keep me coming back… now if you can only focus on this while adding the run of the mill stuff that you lack… well, I will like this even more ;pAnd regarding the theme stuff, what I find to be a problem is that as nice as the top bar is we only get to see it for the 5 seconds we read the title of the post, so the rest of the time is snow plains all throughout it ^^ Maybe leave the bg as is but make the main menu floating as we scroll the page could be the best of two words.Anyhow, good luck with your project, see you around *ps. It’s not actually an “unique” trait, but the ecchi cg’s are a nice addition. Maybe make those more often? Maybe put up some text/mood to accompany it? Maybe take a screen cap each day/week of the most “lulz” moment of current season anime? …just brainstorming here don’t mind me ;pReply
SnowMay 1, 2010 Thanks for the info, I will try and make good use of it. Though I have to agree with you, I’ve been actually just following this blog for more than a year before I decided to join and write some articles. Of course it is fun to have a large community supporting the blog but I think the main goal still remains that we, as bloggers, are able to share our story with others, be it 10 or be it 1000 people.I do have the feeling that I’m able to post up reviews of every new episode for 2 or 3 series each week. That’s one thing that I’m thinking of doing, maybe a test run for a few weeks might be nice and see if the community appreciates it. The most enjoyable part is of course when someone comments and you or other can reply which creates a great online atmosphere.Got to admit though that I’m getting a lot of inspiration from other blogs and I really do enjoy reading their articles though I sometimes find myself stuck in making articles more pleasurable to read. But that’s something that comes with experience (I hope =p).Hopefully YoU reads your comments and maybe get inspired (to post more pics of cute girls, haha) . Your comments are much appreciated =D
YoUMay 1, 2010 Thank you Bonta-kun for providing valuable suggestions and suggestions that I haven’t heard for a long time. And as you have pointed out that and of course contents are the most important part which blog owners are all eager to have. Due to limited time can be spent on and we have to focus on a relative narrow industry (yet we have written posts outside of this industry very often ^^ ). Will try to expend the circle as we grow. Also about the community thing which is exactly what came into my attention way before the redesign of the site, and that’s way lots of social network functions were implemented literally. Still it’s tough job and needs more participation.Quite satisfied with the theme so far but will improve according to the need. I personally didn’t realize the problem you pointed out about the nav bar. The pics and buttons of the bar are embedded in one image and were implemented using the background attribute of CSS. It turned out that the image is over 60K and guess that’s why it might take a while to load. Will try to optimize it in a moment.Currently have no intention of adding “Ecchi” stuffs to the site, but you can also find some Doujinshi around here. Also what I’ve seen from your comments is that Bonta-kun is an enthusiast. Wonder whether you are also enthusiastic in writing PS. Am also a fans of Full Metal Panic.
711May 1, 2010 @SnowJust be careful when picking your writing style, the net is saturated with mediocre anime blogs already! For me the style I appreciate most nowadays (and try to reproduce when I write to some extent) is the acid humor “The Escapist” employs on his game reviews. It’s not exactly irony witch is a plus since internet doesn’t actually reproduce irony that well, but I laugh my ass off with his remarks and love to attempt to reproduce them He is narcissistic as FUCK and I can’t agree on his bashing 100% of the time, but since I like Makiavel as well I can relate to that ^^It’s not something I am used to find on the anime side of the net for instance…. most writers / bloggers / reviewers I find have their heads stuck up their asses so deep that they can’t see past their own crap…. critic is a good thing, but finding balance is tough when people are so self contrived they can’t let go minor gripes and false expectations to enjoy a show. But I guess this exists on any elitist group, and anime otakus in general are one of the worst sadly Just the other day I saw someone saying FMA (the original) was crap because Brotherhood was “so much better”!!! Really!? How the fuck can you judge a show to be terrible based on another show that came out years latter?!?!?! (and it was a mildly famous blog btw)@ YoUNot so sure if I am as enthusiastic as bonta-kun, but his suit surely fits me ^^Well, better than hinting I think it’s safer to show you some of what I mean… just look for “711″ on MyAnimeList or “711c” on AnimeDB (stupid system won’t allow me to use “711″) if you are so inclined and check out one of my reviews. I am not a blogger… got a few invites in the past, but the anime community doesn’t instigate me that much to write, feedback is always scarce and most of the time devoid of meaningful content, it’s always I agree / disagree because I love / hate the show you reviewed so “fuck off” >< …but I do like writing occasionally and I think those texts show my personality a bit, at least as far as anime is concerned.Right now I am doing a Kodomo no Jikan review for instance, that show is just pure gold and even If I know people could care less for what I have to say, I always write to entertain myself first and foremost so it's a moot point.Reply
