Japan ChannelJanuary 19, 2012Seitokai no Ichizon and Haganai Project Announced5by YoU 125 days ago A new project of Sekina Aoi’s (葵 せきな) Seitokai no Ichizon (生徒会の一存, Student Council’s Discretion) and Yomi Hirasaka’s (平坂 読) Haganai (僕は友達が少ない, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, lit. I Don’t Have Many Friends) was announced. It is an interesting collaboration between Fujimi Shobo and Media Factory where the two authors will write crossover stories. At this point, an official website for both series is set up and according to the translation on ANN (No, we don’t blackout), Hirasaka will write a prose story in May issue of Fujimi Shobo’s Dragon Magazine and Aoi will then write a prose story which will be bundled as a bonus supplement in June issue of Media Factory’s Comic Alive magazine. The crossover novels are just a first step of the project, the publishers put it that more stuffs are coming in the future. According to another Tweet, we learned that an announcement of Seitokai no Ichizon will be made on March 20. We have already confirmed the new Anime adaptation of the series June last year, and it sounds more or less the producer should be ready and announced the date of the release. Stay tuned and we will get back to this in March.Source: 0taku Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Comedy Romance School SeinenThe story revolves around Kodaka Hasegawa, a half-Japanese/half-British transfer student whose delinquent-like blonde hair scares people, and a seemingly perpetually sullen girl named Yozora Mikazuki.
