When first heard of the news, I was a bit shock and then nodded my head and say, ah, yes, I have seen some clues since they actually performed as the male and female protagonists for lots of series. For folks who do not familiar with the two, I would like to list some series here: Gundam SEED Destiny, FINAL FANTASY 7 ADVENT CHILDREN, Ouran High School Host Club and Kara no Kyoukai. According to Mitsuo Fukuda (福田 己津央), the director of TV Anime series Gundam SEED, Maaya Sakamoto and Kenichi Suzumura have already been good friends since Gundam SEED Destiny.The first series that I know about Maaya is RahXephon (ラーゼフォン) as one of the female protagonist Reika Mishima (美嶋 玲香) in 2002. She was my favorite female Seiyuu at that time and her voice in the series was like Goddess from heaven, pure and clear, soft and gentle, able to attract people’s heart. Also, Maaya is more a singer than a Seiyuu to me and I love most of her songs like Tune the Rainbow. As for Kenichi, he is always the top three voice actor in my list and I like his being the voice actor of Mikiya Kokutou (黒桐幹也) other than Shinn Asuka (シン・アスカ).
