Shaman King Manga Back, Big Project Coming Spring 20125

According to the 4th volume of Jump X magazine, Manga series Shaman King is about to return and will be published with a new 44-page story in the next volume on November 10. The short story will present us an untold so called Zero Story about the protagonist Yoh Asakura. Also, it is leading to a big project next year. It’s great news to all the fans, and Shaman King is my favorite (no one of) action Manga of all time. The TV Anime ended in 2005 with 64 episodes, while the Manga stopped even before the final battle between Hao. It’s unfinished, and I have been waiting for year for its continuation. And now, it’s here.

So, what about this big project in 2012? Probably be a TV Anime. Well, if I made it correct, the previous TV Anime series ended quite a while ago, and in a form that the possibility of a continued second season will be extremely low. The story of the Anime was driven way off the track of the original Manga series, and staffs probably did not have a continue season in mind. So, what will it going to be like? Take a look at one of October series Hunter x Hunter. It’s an old series with the first Anime aired years ago, and it’s long, quite long. What did the producer do with it? They made a remake and ready to air it next month, for at least one year. Shaman King could probably follow the same track and do a remake instead of a second season, and this time, follow the Manga route. However, it could also be a totally brand new story from what we talked above, the Zero Story.

It’s just my assumption and nothing has been confirmed yet. But from time to time, I got it right. Like the K-ON! university arc and the coming 4th season of Zero no Tsukaima in 2012. Didn’t know about the series, it’s a big loss to you. Check out Wikipedia for more introduction and story about the series. It’s a long-run series and I am sure you will like it.

I think a new anime is a good idea, Shaman King is one of many series that animation has aged over the past years and make hard to watch now...

Hey, it's 2005! Guess that's the best quality at that time, even though just 6 years ago :)

I would LOVE to see Shaman King remade!
