Skip Beat! Manga11

Skip Beat! is my favorite Anime among Winter Anime release in 2008. The Anime has only 41 episodes and the manga still continues. Yoshiki Nakamura (仲村佳樹) publishes it every week (?) and 135 is the latest chapter.

The Anime is truly good and I couldn’t even wait for the next week to come. So I made a mistake and spared myself some time to read the manga. I was only planning  read what had happened in the near later episode but I cannot stop after reading the next chapter of the manga. The snow ball rolled bigger and bigger and now I have finished reading all the chapters of the manga (sadly…). I was regret since it will decrease my interests in the following Anime but I was wrong. Reading manga and watching Anime have lots of differences and Skip Beat! definately deserve watching twice or even more times ^^

I’m here to warn you that if you’re truly interested in the Anime, stop finding the manga until the whole 41 episodes have been broadcast. (The manga shows much details that the Anime cannot.)

The latest episode of the Anime reveals a new plot of the story (though I knew it since the first episode of the Anime ^^) and the love triangle among Kyoko, Rei and Sho are now slowly formed. I don’t used to like Sho but after reading the manga, I started to think that he’s not a real bad guy and in some part of my heart I really want him to be together with Kyoko. Luckily the story hasn’t told us about the ending and we’ve got plenty of time to make our judgements.

If you cannot wait like me, you should read the manga online. Oops, this is not a trap, make your choice carefully ^^

According to the following list, the Anime will end at 25 episode. Not sure about whether there will be a second season of the Anime but there’re too many things left unknown to the audience. Will bring the latest updates.
