Summer season impression1

Short impression of the series I am currently following. Most series only have aired one episode so don’t see this as a review since it’s definitely not, it was the same for Angel Beats!, episode 1 was really .. confusing but the series turned out to be really good.

Occult academy

Wanted to watch this because of the art work and Hikasa Yoko (Mio from K-ON) voices the protagonist, so I did. However I’ve only seen episode 1 so far and don’t really think much of it at the moment. Might be because I’m not an occult fan and I don’t think that I’ve seen many monster series. Lots of gore though, rather funny than actually gory.

Mitsudomoe

This is really a funny series to watch, might look a bit childish but don’t be fooled. I wouldn’t let children watch this show with the jokes they are making in it. I don’t really like the artwork, I would’ve rather seen something like Minami-ke or Kyou no go no ni.
Definitely want more of this ^^.

Seitokai Yakuindomo

Not really what I expected, I thought it would be something like Kaichou + Seitokai no ichizon, but it turns out to be completely different. Funny series nevertheless but very adult tinted, watch this series if you don’t mind those jokes and censoring of certain things.. =p

Highschool of the dead

Really looked forward to this show and so far episode one has been really good. The main girl characters is quite annoying but the series itself is rather refreshing (maybe a bad choice of words since there’s blood spilled everywhere) since it’s something I haven’t seen before. Unless you count in Resident Evil. I don’t expect much from the story, but I like the killing of zombies =p.

Amagami SS

Hatsukoi limited-ish, I personally love romance series and because this is probably the only one with actual romance I just have to watch this. I did like Hatsukoi Limited and this series looks promising too. I don’t expect anything fancy from the story, most likely something really stereotypical and you can easily guess the plot. Confession in the very first episode?!!

Ookami-san

Episode 1 wasn’t really that entertaining however it’s getting better, episode 2 was a huge improvement =D. I still can’t seem to shake off this feeling that Ryouko isn’t anything like Taiga. The series is still weird though, weird but entertaining. The narrator is sometimes really annoying other times really funny to listen to.

Shukufuku no Campanella

In short, the series was really random. Made me want to play some RPG. Not good at all, probably dropping this one.

Shi-ki

Vampires, but not like anything I’ve seen before. Episode one doesn’t even give much away but it sure is exciting! At this moment no group has picked up the series yet. And it’s licensed by Funi =/
