Merry Christmas! Well, although Christmas is over but the holiday season has not yet ended. What’s more, new year is around the corner and I’d love to take a time to wish everybody Happy Holiday! Me? Enjoying snow storms blowing right from the outside of my mansion. Heaviest snow since these days.

Thank you to all of you visiting my website and leaving comments and activities. Currently working on a new theme for the site and wish to put it up in a early stage next year. Thanks for reading and have a fantastic new year!

Anime Announced: Yosuga no Sora

Yosuga no Sora (ヨスガノソラ (縁の空), subtitle: In solitude where we are least alone.) is a Galgame produced by Sphere back in 2008, featuring two great illustrators Hiro Suzuhira (鈴平ひろ) and Takashi Hashimoto (橋本タカシ). The information of the series’ being made into Anime came from the cover of the latest Manga. To be frankly, the series is not really an attraction to me, especially after reading the Manga (haven’t tried the game before). The story is plain and hopeless and cannot compared with most of the series in April. The female protagonist in Manga is Sora (春日野穹). Not sure about the Anime. The only highlight in the series, to me, is the Artworks by the two outstanding illustrators. But anyway, I should not talk about how much I am disappointed before watching the Anime that hasn’t existed. Just have a little faith in it and hope the story won’t be screwed up half way. Breaking News: New Code Geass Project Announced

It’s a shame that I didn’t noticed until today. It’s an official news, check it out here. And at the same time in the January issue of NewType which reveals that a new manga (Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (コードギアス漆黒の連夜)) of the series was announced. Not sure whether the manga has any relation with the coming new projects, but I sincerely hope that the project will an Anime instead of comic or novel. Some one interested in the comic would like to check out this site (JP) or ANN for more info.

Akikan! Melon PVC

The Excellent Model Melon 1/8 PVC figure from Anime Akikan! (アキカン!)) will be released in July 2009. Produced by Megahouse. Apparently if you have already watched the TV Anime of Akikan!, you will probably get disappointed by the low quality of the Anime. Well, may be you should just start to read the light novel version and it may satisfy you more than the Anime. Haven’t read the novel before so I will not recommend this for you, but as a big fan of Hiro Suzuhira, I’d like to say the artwork of the novel is awesome!

Shuffle! Asa Shigure PVC Special Ver.

Kotobukiya (壽屋) is about to release its special version of Asa Shigure in June. What’s special in this new version? Well, if you have tracked the identical figure before, you will probably noticed about the hair style of both figures. In the normal version, we have Asa in short hair as she looks like most of the time in the Anime and Galgame Shuffle! while in the special version Asa is wearing her long hair and with a cute look on her face. To me, both look awesome! Preorder and get more info on Amiami.

2D Lingerie Shots No.7

Long time since the previous post of the series. Basically busying working on the paper of the school and I’m now ready to start the new theme in a few days. Some friends mentioned a galgame named Stellar Theater and asked for information. As far as I know, the game has released but since it’s illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira, there’s a fame. Will bring something about this topic later. And here’s a nice scan of Seia Kanou (狩野星亜), a heroine of the galgame Stellar Theater. Of course, it is illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira.

In solitude, where we are least alone (ヨスガノソラ / Yosuganosora) is an interesting Galgame featured by two excellent illustrators, Hiro Suzuhira (鈴平ひろ/Circle: HEART WORK) and Takashi Hashimoto (橋本タカシ/Circle: EXCLAMATION). Some friends who have tried the games turned out to be various in opinions.

Despite all those different voices outside, the artwork of the game is outstanding. You may want to check out the artbook of the limited version of the game (not for sale), or some attractive merchandises showed in the stores of Tokyo.

Yuko Amamiya

I guess everybody knows who this character is, right? Yuko Amamiya (雨宮優子), from the galgame ef – a fairy tale of the two. Well, since we’ve already identified the character, I’ve a question here. Who’s the illustrator? It really confuses me. I know that Naru Nanao does the artworks and CGs for the game, but what about the above one? It looks like a Naru Nanao work, but at the same time, also looks like a Hiro Suzuhira work. I can easily identify Naru Nanao’s and Hiro Suzuhira’s artworks but not this one. Tell me if you know that.

3D Mouse Pad

You may have already seen the artbook of the Bishoujo game In solitude, where we are least alone (ヨスガノソラ). And now we have the latest 3D mouse pads for the game, illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira and Takashi Hashimoto.

There’re two of them as a set, one is Kazuha Migiwa (渚一葉, on the left) and other Sora Kasugano (春日野穹, on the right), the sister of the protagonist. There’s no big Opai but the normal ones, even smaller may be. The Kazuha Migiwa one, which is illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira, has a heigt of 30mm (M size) while Sora Kasugano which is illustrated by Takashi Hashimoto has a height of 23mm (S size), and you can now tell me the difference if you own a 3D mouse pad ^^

Both will be released on February 26th. You can >preorder at HOBBY STOCK.

Wishlist Weekly! Vol.1

Friends who poke around the site would probably get noticed that there were lot of ads and affiliates programs around. However, regular readers may now find that ~~all~~ most of those Google Adsenses are gone. Am I not going to make money via my site any more? No, that’s not the case. Thanks to a tutorial from Smashingmagazine.com I’m now able to consider removing ~~all those~~ Google Ads away from the sight of my regular readers and only show them to the traffic from search engines, say, Google, Yahoo! and MSN. Just consider it as an addition value I added to my friends ^^.

Though Google Ads are no more getting in your way, the affiliate programs were left. Currently TheAkiba has two affiliate sponsors, Jlist.com and Play-Asia.com, one is located in Japan and another in Hong Kong. The two of them are both focusing on Anime, Comic and Game stuffs (ACG for short) and are those rare sponsors really fit well with the contents of my site.

The Wishlist Weekly ! idea comes from the recommendation of Jlist.com and I’d like to implement it as another way to grow profits. Someone may get sucked on this but you may just consider it as a recommended buy list or something else, and really if you don’t like it, just navigate away and remember to poke around on other part of the site, that’s fine ^^. I’m not persuading my friends to buy things via my affiliate links but just consider it as something I really want to buy (truly, I won’t put it up if I don’t like it). Sounds like a rountine declaration but it’s cool to me. And okay, here we go.

Dengeki G’s Magazine Dec 2008 (Highly recommended. For all age, probably ^^)

Review: If you know me well you won’t get confused why I recommend this one. I love Hiro Suzuhira’s works, all of them! Seriously I’ll buy this myself. Why? Don’t you see there’s a special book about ~~Galgame~~ novel Marriage Royale which is illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira and Aoi Nishimata included? This is an old issue for last month (or last year) but I don’t really care since the world is already a fast changing one ever. Shuffle Memories 1/8 Scale Pre-Painted PVC Figure: Shigure Asa (Out of Stock)

Review: Asa again, Hiro Suzuhira again, seems like I’m kind of mania of Hiro Suzuhira. I’ve brought this figure before and it’s now out of stock both in Jlist and Play-Asia (probably for a long time). Sounds like some kind of Asa magic. This is a must buy one to me.

Yuiko Kurugaya Oppai Mouse Pad ~ Little Busters Ecstasy
