Recommended Anime of October 2009

Recommended Anime of October 2009

Before we go for the recommended Anime of October 2009, I’d like to talk about the overall performance of the Anime of the month. I was not interested in most of the Anime of the month in the first place, and then after quick view of the first episode of several Anime I realized that there did exist some nice ones. And it also appears that most of the Anime of the season have lots of cute girl characters.

Anime & Manga Review: Tokyo Underground

Anime & Manga Review: Tokyo Underground

Watched the Anime of the series a few years ago but have just finished reading the Manga recently. The story between the two version is quite big a difference and cannot help talking something about. The series was created by Akinobu Uraka (有楽 彰展). The first thing to talk about is the female protagonist. It’s really difficult to define who the heroine is. According to the whole story, Ruri (ルリ) will definitely be the heroine. She is the one who Rumina (留美奈) fell in love with in the first place of the story. But according to my understanding, Rumina only think Ruri is cute since the story doesn’t focus too much on this part which turns out to be difficult in convincing readers about the reason that Rumina and Chelsea (チェルシー) go down to the Tokyo Underground to rescue Ruri. And my claim is proved to be reasonable as the story develops.

Recommended Anime of July 2009

Recommended Anime of July 2009

Tons of interesting Anime came this July. But to most of us, time is limit and we have to pick some of them which are really of our tastes and worth spending the next 25 minutes staring at the screen. The overall quality of the Anime this month is outstanding, featuring TYPY-MOON’s CANAAN.

Recommended: Chrome Shelled Regios

Chrome Shelled Regios (鋼殻のレギオス, Koukaku no Regios) is a Japanese light novel series by Shousuke Amagi (雨木 シュウスケ), with illustrations by Miyou (深遊). The story is really attractive. I was told that there’re too many characters in the novel and it was difficult to make it into Anime. But there it was. Visit Wikipedia and Anime News Network for more about the Anime. Visit official website (JP) of the Anime.

Recommendation: Vampire Knight

Recommendation: Vampire Knight

The earliest memory of Yuki Cross (黒主 優姫) was a snowy night in winter that she was saved by Kaname Kuran (玖蘭 枢), a pure-blood vampire when she was under attacked by another vampire. 10 years later, Yuki becomes a high school student and lives as an adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, Kaien Cross (黒主 灰閻). In order to realize Kaien’s dream which vampires are able to coexist peacefully with humans, Yuki works with Zero Kiryu (錐生 零), a childhood companion whose parents were killed by a pure-blood vampire, as school guardians.

Recommendation: Asu no Yoichi!

Recommendation: Asu no Yoichi!

Still remember what I’ve said about this Anime series in my recent post January 2009 New Anime Guide? Yeah, I said nothing, simply because I don’t pay much attention to the series. But whatever, after I watching one episode I start to love it. You may ask why I have to watch something I don’t “like”? It’s because of Sawyer(akibarika) who post a comment followed the post that made me feel getting interested in.

Recommendation & Review: Skip Beat! – Episode 1

Recommendation & Review: Skip Beat! – Episode 1

Well, at first I don’t think too much of this series until I somehow got the first episode later. It’s worth watching and it’s an encouraging story. Skip Beat! is a Japanese shoujo manga by Yoshiki Nakamura. I also know a similar manga of becoming a singer by Arina Tanemura: Full Moon wo Sagashite.
