Just finished reading the ACT.139 of the Skip Beat! Manga and found a message on the front page of this chapter. A message is about the release of the Skip Beat! PlayStation2 game and the official website address. The game is scheduled to release on May 28th 2009, you can have more info on the official website.

The second half of the first season of Skip Beat! mainly talks about Kyoko’s joining in the production of a TV drama Dark Moon, and the story about this TV drama will last, I think, until the end of the second season. Fans like me who have already read the manga will confirm what I’ve just said and we will some story happens after the Dark Moon period if there will be 3rd season ^^

Itsumi Momose (百瀬 逸美), age 17, is a popular new actress, playing the role of “Mizuki”, the heroine in Dark Moon. To be frankly I didn’t think she is a good character in the first place but later was proved to be wrong. Since I’ve already read the Manga I’m now really like her characteristics.

The imagine wrestling match. I was wondering how Kyoko’s feeling toward Ren and the relationship between them. I think Kyoko’s feeling is built upon respect and admire, but what about Ren? This is truly interesting relation.

After hearing what Itsumi thought about Ren’s unreasonable performance, Kyoko was very upset.



I don’t understand why Ren doesn’t allow himself to love Kyoko. The mange does tell us some reasons but I was really confused from time to time.

Kyoko found Yashiro to ask for the schedule of Ren. But in return to this favour, Yashiro asked Kyoko to stay with Ren for dinner and thought this would help Ren from getting disappoint.



Kyoko found Ren in his car. The two looked happy on the faces.


Interesting expression on Yashiro’s face when he was imaging what expression will show on Ren’s face when he found that Kyoko came to his apartment. But sadly Yashiro found out that Ren would not show his happiness on his face and would continue to treat Kyoko as air. Yes, Yashiro was right.





Ren is showing his “kindness smile” to Kyoko. To me, this expression is something like a shy boy tries to cover the true feeling of himself from getting known by the girl he love.






When they were having dinner Kyoko turned on the TV and found that it was broadcasting some couple entertainment programe. During Kyoko and Ren’s conversation, finally, Ren realized something, something about his feeling towards Kyoko. Again, Ren is a very stubborn.



These are typical behaviors of a boy falling in love with a girl. Emm…Ren’s now 20 and Kyoko is 16 which according to Kyoko herself, the very age of a woman to get married.








The best scene of the episode though Kyoko looks weird on her hairstyle ^^














This is about the end of the episode. The following part of the story tells something about what will be shown on the coming season.

Who’s this young boy? Emm…you sure you want to know…I’d better recommend you to read the mange or just wait impatiently for the 2nd season ^^


I think the best line of the coming 2nd season will be the triangle love relationship among Kyoko, Ren and Sho. So far I didn’t see the coming rock band VG but it will sure appear in the coming season.

There might not be a single out there since the track has already been released in a form of a track in his latest album Memorial.

Just surprised by the latest episode of Skip Beat! (20). I hadn’t thought of there’s a new opening song for the Anime series since I am really satisfied with the OP1 Dream Star. Some fans on sites of Skip Beat! discussed about how many episode there will be. Since the new OP was released in episode 20, there should be another 20 episodes left (altogether 41 episodes, probably), and we will be able to watch the exciting “Dark Moon” drama acted by Kyoko in the future. Probably Sho Fuwa will show up later and I’d like to enjoy the great love triangle ^^.

The Single of the OP2 will be released on 11th. March 2009.

Here it is finally. It seems lots of fans were waiting for this album, as was I. The Original Sound Track consists 2 discs. First disc is a Single of SHO FUWA (Voicer: Mamoru Miyano, 宮野 真守). I guess we have all heard of the second track Prisoner in the latest episode, but to be frank, I don’t think Mamoru is very good at singing ^^. As for the second disc which is the original sound track of Skip Beat! includes 40 background tracks and I do like most of them.

Just for a minute, wonder whether you prefer local direct download from TheAkiba or the online storage download (MegaUpload for example). Tell me your ideas ^^.

Skip Beat! is my favorite Anime among Winter Anime release in 2008. The Anime has only 41 episodes and the manga still continues. Yoshiki Nakamura (仲村佳樹) publishes it every week (?) and 135 is the latest chapter.

The Anime is truly good and I couldn’t even wait for the next week to come. So I made a mistake and spared myself some time to read the manga. I was only planning  read what had happened in the near later episode but I cannot stop after reading the next chapter of the manga. The snow ball rolled bigger and bigger and now I have finished reading all the chapters of the manga (sadly…). I was regret since it will decrease my interests in the following Anime but I was wrong. Reading manga and watching Anime have lots of differences and Skip Beat! definately deserve watching twice or even more times ^^

I’m here to warn you that if you’re truly interested in the Anime, stop finding the manga until the whole 41 episodes have been broadcast. (The manga shows much details that the Anime cannot.)

The latest episode of the Anime reveals a new plot of the story (though I knew it since the first episode of the Anime ^^) and the love triangle among Kyoko, Rei and Sho are now slowly formed. I don’t used to like Sho but after reading the manga, I started to think that he’s not a real bad guy and in some part of my heart I really want him to be together with Kyoko. Luckily the story hasn’t told us about the ending and we’ve got plenty of time to make our judgements.

If you cannot wait like me, you should read the manga online. Oops, this is not a trap, make your choice carefully ^^

Update:

According to the following list, the Anime will end at 25 episode. Not sure about whether there will be a second season of the Anime but there’re too many things left unknown to the audience. Will bring the latest updates.

Just finish watching the 16th episode of Skip Beat! Kyoko is now getting along better with Ren who discover the true nature of her and her reason to become an actress. Quite satisfied with this episode, especially when Marina Inoue (the Seiyu of Kyoko, one of my favorite vocal actresses) imitates the voice and speaking style of Ren to make fun of herself. Some scenes of this episode are also favorable, say, the talking scene between Kyoko and Ren.

Concerning this Original Sound Track (O.S.T.) SKIP BEAT! ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK featuring SHO FUWA, contains two discs. The first one (CD1) includes two tracks Sho Fuwa sings in the Anime, BURNIN’ DOWN and Prisoner. The second discs includes 40 sound tracks composed for the Anime, some of which we have already listened before.

You can preorder now at Amazon (Japan), or just wait for a couple of weeks and I’d like to put it up when it’s available ^^

Kyoko accepts L.M.E. owner’s invitation and joins the new department “Love Me”. However, the department itself seems a little bit beyond imagine, not to mention the pink uniform with a large LOGO on the back. Despite all those things hurting one’s self-esteem, it is the attitude of people towards “Love Me” department that really challenge Kyoko.

I really respect the owner of L.M.E. to some degree…

Ruri, one of the famous stars, appeared first to be the one that dislike this new department.

However, when Ruri heard of the request of Ren, her attitude changed…That’s obvious…

Kyoko has misunderstood a lot about Ruri, imaging that she’s the queen or princess of some graceful kind.

Here’s the episode 6. When talking about Ren, Ruri turns into another person.

Envy, this is the first word occurred to me.

Kyoko is still thinking Ruri is a person of good personality.

I’ve tired of waiting for you.

Kyoko finally gets to know that Ruri’s negative attitude towards “Love Me” department and Kyoko herself.

Ruri thinks that everybody is looking for her now, but it turns out to be not the case, nobody is worried about her.

Ruri admits that she has no talent of being a actress, then she appoints Kyoko to replace her position since she thinks Kyoko will do everything to win points for debut.

Kyoko, accepts the request with great anger and hatred, however, she decides to fight back and this is definitely a great change for Kyoko to start her career.

After Kyoko enters into the hall, everybody is shock. A normal girl turns into a beautiful star, even Ren himself is shock.

In order to get this chance, Kyoko decides to win the position.

Kyoko turns out to be an outstanding actress, with all those skills she learnt in her early age, however, she seems to be ashame of them.

Even Kyoko tries her best to keep calm, the wounds in her left foot is growing, and every paces she moves makes her painful.

Ren tells Kyoko not to continue the match against Ruri, since the next scene of this movie is to sit here for 15 minutes and Kyoko’s wounds cannot make it.

However, we all know the result and Kyoko’s decision.

This is my favorite episode so far in this series, Kyoko finally starts to show her talent of being an actress and her relationship with Ren slightly changed. Still not sure why this series is not welcomed by most of anime fans, but I do insist it to be one of the MUST-WATCH series in winter.
