Sora no Otoshimono Third Season Confirmed!!!

We’ve just mentioned the rumor of the third season of TV Anime series Sora no Otoshimono yesterday. Today, I am extremely happy to tell you that the rumor is confirmed. The third season of Sora no Otoshimono is confirmed! Noted that the rumor came from the screenshot of the low resolution of the video mentioned yesterday. Today, we can clearly read from the high-definition pic below that the third season will be announced together with the release of the magazine on January 26th. Happily we don’t need to wait until that date to tell you about this great news.

Sora no Otoshimono Third Season Coming?

According to the latest cover peak of the March issue of Shonen Ace (少年エース), we learn that a big announcement about TV Anime series Sora no Otoshimono is coming on January 26th, the date when the magazine will be released. Fans are roaring and the rumor about the third season of the series will come already spread across the Internet. Well, actually this is not something new and if you have watched the PV of the movie of the series, you probably have already noticed about the message. The movie of the series was premiered last summer and the BD version will be released next month, the same time most of us will be able to get our hands on the one of the most expected movie this year.

Despite that fact some fans even enlarge the PV of the new issue of Shonen Ace in order to make sure whether the announcement will be the third season, we don’t really have any confirmation at this point. So stay tuned and we will get back to this on January 26th!

New Anime Announcements Coming this Month

There will be several important announcements this November. According to kamenp on Twitter, Omamori Himari (おまもりひまり, HP), Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (これはゾンビですか？) and Sora no Otoshimono (そらのおとしもの) will make their announcements on 11, 16 and the end of November respectively. These are exciting announcements. Omamori Himari should have made the announcement in Japan today, probably the second season. We will get back to it when information comes. As for Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?, the news was already leaked and we have reported a few days ago about the coming of the second season of the series in April. Last but not least, we have just talked about the Blu-ray release date of the movie of Sora no Otoshimono, now there will be another excitement coming at the end of this month. An OVA, OAD, or a brand new TV Anime series which we may want to give it a title as the third season? Well, this is going to be great.

Even though I personally don’t have much expectation on Omamori Himari, the other two are equally good. Well, you should seriously stay with us for more coming news. It will sure be a great month. Sora no Otoshimono Movie BD to be Released in February 2012

Finally we have the confirmed information about when the highly expected movie of TV Anime series Sora no Otoshimono (そらのおとしもの). According to the official website announcement, the BD and DVD will be released on February 24, 2012. The Blu-ray version is around 9,000 JPY, that is 116 USD. If you have an international Credit card, you can start to pre-order it on Amazon Japan, probably the only place you can order for it now. Apart from the BD/DVD itself, several interesting goods that are totally not safe to mention here will also be included in the package.

We first mentioned the exciting confirmation of the movie of Sora no Otoshimono back in last November. Well, if you count the calendar, it’s exactly one year. A few months later in Spring, we confirmed the release date of the movie, as well as the movie of another most expected series K-ON!. With a title of Tokei-jikake no Angeloid (時計じかけの哀女神), the story of the movie will have something to do with Hiyori Kazane (風音日和). If you are following the Manga, you will know that the Kazane Arc has already ended, thus the movie should have something different from the original Manga. It’s definitely one of my favorite series. Can’t wait!

Previews and Guesses about New Anime Series this Summer

Sorry to bother those who are still filling themselves with the death of Anime series Madoka Magica and the ending of all great series of the Winter and the new lights of the coming series in April, in fact, there are lots of delight news about how you can celebrate your coming Summer this year. Even though I experienced the most weird weather these days, which starting from the sunshine back in Monday and Tuesday, and then the Hail, Sleet and Snow in Wednesday, finally feeling the street covered with snow early this morning but sunshine again this afternoon.

Back to our topic before I spend another paragraph talking about the weather and reasoning about the coming 2012 which finally leads to the discussion of the hot movies and why most Japanese novelists decided to end their light novels in 2012 including Zero no Tsukaima. In this post I will like to bring some news, either previews or simple assumptions about what series will be aired this July.

TV Series: Natsume Yuujinchou 3rd Season / 夏目友人帳 (Confirmed)

The series was finally decided to join the line of the wave of July Anime queue. Waited for a few years until the third season come and by far my favorite series in the July Anime list. Filled with joy and only the happiness of knowing that Code Geass is going to aired the third season can be compared with. But Code Geass is not coming, at least not yet this July.

TV Series: Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu 2nd Season / バカとテストと召喚獣 (Confirmed)

The series also announced to come in this July and it could be considered to be the best of the season generally.

Movie: Sora no Otoshimono: Tokei-jikake no Angeloid / 劇場版そらのおとしもの時計じかけの哀女神 (Confirmed)

One super power that no one can ignore, the movie of Anime series Sora no Otoshimono. The date of the movie was just announced three days ago while the release of DVD/BD remain unknown.

TV Series: WORKING!! 2nd Season (Rumor)

This Anime series is always a joy to watch. So far there is no news about the coming new season however the official website of the series has put up a big “7″ on their homepage. What does this big yellow number means? What will happen in seven days if you don’t spread this news (glad that I am doing it)? Characters of the series need to work 7 days of a week? New announcement in 7 days (April 1st)? What there will be in July? Probably a second season! The possibility is huge and we will stay close and update upon latest news.

TV Series: Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu 2nd Season/ 伝説の勇者の伝説 (Romur)

This is another great series but it seems that only few people follow it. Probably because of it’s old style of story but I do enjoy watching. Will there will a 2nd season, DRAGON MAGAZINE is going to reveal the detail on April 1st on their latest 5th issue of the magazine. Will update upon latest news.

TV Series: Seitokai no Ichizon 2nd Season / 生徒会の一存 (Rumor)

Also a very heart warming and fun series that I really enjoyed. The series was ended two years ago and if you still remember that Magiru Sensei did mentioned that there won’t be a second season. Guess we are all wrong. Just wait for the latest issue of DRAGON MAGAZINE.

Movie Date Announced: Sora no Otoshimono: Tokei-jikake no Angeloid

Finally the movie of Sora no Otoshimono was announced on NewType. The movie is named Sora no Otoshimono: Tokei-jikake no Angeloid (劇場版そらのおとしもの　時計じかけの哀女神) and it will be on the cinema on June 25 2011 in Japan.

The movie was firstly announced back in last year when the TV series ended and guess most of us have waited for a long time impatiently. The official website has a preview of the movie and you can check it out below.

Update: The wait is over. The Blu-ray of the movie will be released on February 24, 2012. You can start to preorder on Amazon Japan now if you have an International Credit Card. Check out our latest post for more information about the movie Blu-ray release.

Movie Date Announced: K-ON! and Sora no Otoshimono

Just a quick view of what’s happening in these days. Friends have been talking about (or argue literally) the date when the movie of Anime series Sora no Otoshimono upon the news made. Comments were made and I seriously have no idea about the specific date so far. Since the actual release of the movie of the series is quite unique compared with other well known series, it will be a little difficult even you are in Japan. And we are not, at least most part of us, and we will have to wait for the release of the DVD/BD.

And now, we have the official date. Sora no Otoshimono will be on screen in early Summer while K-ON! will be on December 3 2011. And we can also see from the magazine poster above that even though the specific date of the movie of Sora no Otoshimono was not included, it did provide us an clue: there will be a live event on May 29 2011. So, what’s your guess. The movie could be available in the next month or two, that’s June or July.

Still a long time to wait and will bring the latest update about the specific date.

Kotobukiya: Nymph

Really cute Nymph 1/6 PVC figure from Anime series Sora no Otoshimono will be available June this year. Pretty delicated one and probably the best I’ve seen from the series. Guess Kotobukiya always has a better quality in character design than most manufacturers out there. And about the character, yes, Nymph is cute and is my favorite character of the series. She seems to have an appealing personality than other angeloids, including Ikaros and Astraea.

Quick Look: Sora no Otoshimono Movie Confirmed!

The movie of Anime series Sora no Otoshimono (そらのおとしもの) has been announced and special attentions and column will be given in the coming new issue of Newtype magazine (out on November 10). Was surprised to see a series of this kind be made into movie. My speculation is the story could be something totally new from the original plot since the Manga is on its half way. Or it could be a roundup of previous episodes and come to a different ending as the Manga.

Update: The wait is over, again! This time, we’ve confirmed the third season of the series!

Recommended Anime of October 2010

It’s time for a roundup of what’s hot in the season. Haven’t started following the watch list? Check out the previous post for a sum-up of what’s coming this season. There are many series run beyond my expectations and it’s an story that I don’t really have much time to follow all of them. Sadly, I will have to pick what’s the most suitable for me and, of course, for the rest of us.

Sora no Otoshimono: Forte (2nd Season) / そらのおとしもの f (フォルテ) (12 episodes)

Second season of the series and I don’t think there are many reasons to stop me from following them all. It’s awesome but it seems not very suitable for all ages You are warned. It’s a nice story and it runs out of the circle of normal Harem Anime, it’s fun, exciting and seductive. The Manga seems run slowly in the process and we should not be able to watch the third season in a year of two.

MM! / えむえむっ！ (12 episodes)

At first I thought this is not something I should follow. OK, I admit that I really like the cute girls in the official website and that’s why start my way. Right at the starting point of the first episode, I fell in love with it. The character is cute and again, it’s Jun Fukuyama (福山潤), guess I just love his voice. There’s no need to talk about the plot of the series and you might just love it since the first beginning. Definitely one of the best of the season and you will never want to miss it.

Bakuman. / バクマン。 (25 episodes)

Once I read the preview I started to like the series but when I watched the first episode, I got a little bit disappointed. Partly because of the success of the unusual propose, partly because of our male protagonist doesn’t seem to work hard for it. But I will stick to it, partly because it ranks the third in the Poll and partly because I still have faith in the plot that it could be extremely attractive soon.

Hakuouki Hekketsu-roku (2nd Season) / 薄桜鬼碧血録 (12 episodes)

The reason I follow this series is basically that I watched the first season and it’s quite good in all. Though the plot is a little bit old but the overall quality, the music and CVs are quite well. Will recommend to those who watched the first season.

Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai / 俺の妹がこんなに可愛いわけがない (12 episodes)

One of my favorite of the series besides MM!. Quite ironic that I didn’t take it a lot after I read the Manga a few months ago. It’s just terrible (Sorry, the illustrator of the Manga)! But if I started by reading the novel instead of the Manga, probably I would fall love with it. Never mind, and actually I have already fell in love with the series since the first episode. It’s awesome! Recommended to all fans, especially to those who has Imoutos Maybe you will find them more cute/not cute.

Yosuga no Sora / ヨスガノソラ (13 episodes)

I assume you have either read the official website or see some posters about this series. It was aired on AT-X, and AT-X, you know what I mean. Thus, this series is not recommended for people under 18 and I have already surprised since the first episode, and of course, the latest episode, there are just too many scenes about Ecchi, guess they may just made another Ecchi Anime instead. The plot is as old as my broken bicycle and the only thing I like is the illustrators behind it.

Otome Youkai Zakuro / おとめ妖怪ざくろ (13 episodes)

This is quite good a series and it’s a shame that it attracts few attentions. The CV list is one of the most gorgeous ones of the season and the story is somehow interesting. Cannot stop laughing during the first episode and Takahiro Sakurai (櫻井孝宏) is quite good at his role

Shinryaku! Ika Musume / 侵略！イカ娘 (13 episodes)

Another fun series, talking about an IKA transformed to a little girl and how she conquer the world. Wrong, you got it totally wrong. We have three pieces of small stories each episode and laugh all the way to the end. You may want to have a try if you want to relax a bit from your heavy work. Try it out, you will get totally refreshed.

Motto To Love-Ru -Trouble- (2nd Season) / もっとTo LOVEる -とらぶる- (12 episodes)

The Manga of the series has started over again and it turns to be evil than ever before. I will get to know what I mean when you read it. But it’s a good news that the series came back to life again, especially such a great series like this one. Beside the Harem part, the love story or the main line of the story is quite unclear/clear. It’s good to finally have a chance to see how Rito make his decision.

Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai / 神のみぞ知るセカイ (12 episodes)

Actually the series is a little bit below my expectation. The character design is a little bit confused and I mistook the male protagonist as female. And what’s more, I have never see school uniform of this kind before, it’s just, unique. But anyway, the story seems to have a one-episode-per-story pattern and of course one-kiss-per-episode. Though it’s a little bit born but may follow it for while to check it out.

Second season of the series and ranks on the top of our watch list. It’s definitely a good series and the novel receive warm welcomes. One you cannot miss.

Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku / FORTUNE ARTERIAL 赤い約束 (12 episodes)

Quite a nice Harem Anime above my expectation. The overall quality is fine but the Harem part is a little bit too obvious and makes me a little uncomfortable
