With all the changes, it is still a V5 version, not something especially new for the main design. Under Channel: BlogTheAkiba V5 Launched8by YoU 338 days ago Finally it is here. The new theme (V5) of TheAkiba is finally online. Have worked it for a while and it is now online. Still have something to tweak with but overall it is done. Didn’t make too much change to the layout since it is the best I can imagine and it has a optimal user experience to me. I have basically rewrote all the code and refine the CSS to the latest updates. Not very much new things here and will sure to keep on tweaking it.

Have studied tons of websites before the idea coming out. Thanks to Tutsplus network, the main development of the code was done and I was able to finish coding in time. Although not many new ideas came to the theme while the features were increased. This is not an original design but an redesign based on the framework and layout of Tutsplus Network. Will continue digging into the detail and furnishing the look in the coming days. Right now just enjoy the feeling of satisfaction.

Guess is snowing heavily in Ohio but I am right now at Las Vegas watching all kinds of splendid shows and fancy hotels and casinos. Guess gambling is all about picking the right machine and clicking with your lucky finger. Did the gamble the first time and won $20 with only $1. You will never know what will happen when you had put $100 into that machine and that’s why I don’t like gambling a lot.

Kind of being lazy these days and the site lacks updates for a while, in part of my preparing and reviewing of my college courses (I almost forget them all!), in part of the high usage of the server resource. Tired of looking into the code for optimization, I bought a new hosting plan last week. And today I moved the site to the new hosting company that is hotly discussed these days: WPWebHost.
