TYPE-MOON’s latest anime CANAAN (also known as 428 the animation), originally comes from the video game 428: Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de (Japanese: 428 ～封鎖された渋谷で～) on Wii, is about to release in 2009. Will bring more news later.

The heat of the Anime Fate/stay night has not yet died out since the latest release of the artbook of Saber. Fate/stay night Saber Portraits (Fate/stay night セイバー写真集) was just released a couple of days before. Fourteen illustrators took part in the creation of the portraits book with over17 illustrations included. The book to me seems like a saber cosply show, many costumes shots are included, say, maid, school gym suit, Yukata and so forth.

Another album released by TYPE-MOON as the preparation of the coming movie in January. The CD cover is really well design and Saber looks beautiful in her blond hair. Several tracks are reproduced and are voiced by other artists. The album seems focus on the game side of the series, including both PC and PlayStation 2 platform. Am really looking forward to watch the movie.

Finally the great masterpiece comes. The trailer has been put on Youtube. Will definitely love to see it will be on theater across the world. Forget my daydream and come to the movie part. As you can see the subtitle is UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS (UBW), which means the story of the second route of the Fate/stay night PC game will be put on the big screen. Guess lots of fans of the series, who have played or haven’t played the game, have already known what the story talks about. It’s good to see how Rin becomes the first heroine (sad to find out that the name of Kana Ueda (植田佳奈) was still listed after Ayako Kawasumi (川澄綾子) although both of them are my favorite CVs). Would love to bring more after the release of the movie.

Woke up this morning noticed the latest news about Saber Lily on Akiba Hobby. The reservation starts today (23rd) and so far I found nothing on those online preorder sites. Price at 9800 YEN and is scheduled to release in June 2009.

Who’s Hirokazu Koyama (こやま ひろかず, visit blog) ? I guess few people know this guy. But what about when I mention TYPE-MOON any impressions? I guess we are all familiar with Takashi Takeuchi (武内崇) and Nasu Kinoko (奈須 きのこ) who work together and even co-found TYPE-MOON. But Hirokazu Koyama did do lots of good artworks, say Mahoutsukai no Yoru (魔法使いの夜, Witch of the Holy Night) which will be illustrated by Hirokazu Koyama and be released some time this year.

And about this SilverRain (シルバーレイン), I guess fewer people know, especially non-Japanese visitors. SilverRain is an online web page game (to me, it seems like an online galgame) created by TommyWalker, illustrated mainly by Hirokazu Koyama, currently only available in Japanese. Basically I have no idea what this game is about and how it works. I was attracted totally by Hirokazu’s illustrations.

May 24th. 2008, the day when the fourth chapter of Kara no Kyoukai on show in the cinema. Actually, the DVD version of the movie was planned to released on the September 13rd. 2008, but the schedule seems been delated.

In the fourth chapter, Shiki was in hospital for 2 years after that night (you should know the story since it’s the continue of the second chapter). When she woke up, she found out the other part of herself (another Shiki) has gone. Feeling empty and depress, Shiki did’t know what had happened to her (memory lost) until she met Toko. Shiki finally made up her decision and fight against her destiny with the ability of seeing death line of everything.

The DVD of the 4th movie of Kara no Kyoukai has released! Unfortunately, this chapter is also a short one (about 60 minutes), the 5th movie will be much longer according to the net drama I listened two months ago.

This chapter mainly talks about what happens after Shiki’s accident (actually this episode does tell how Shiki gets hurt) and how she gains the ability of her “Mystic Eyes of Death Perception”. Well, I’m ready to write a review.

Finished watching the movie a week ago but only find time to write something now. Continued with the second episode, the story starts with the cry of the ambulance, Shiki is in the car and being sending to the hospital, with blood all over her red Kimono.
