Skip Beat! is my favorite Anime among Winter Anime release in 2008. The Anime has only 41 episodes and the manga still continues. Yoshiki Nakamura (仲村佳樹) publishes it every week (?) and 135 is the latest chapter.
The Anime is truly good and I couldn’t even wait for the next week to come. So I made a mistake and spared myself some time to read the manga. I was only planning read what had happened in the near later episode but I cannot stop after reading the next chapter of the manga. The snow ball rolled bigger and bigger and now I have finished reading all the chapters of the manga (sadly…). I was regret since it will decrease my interests in the following Anime but I was wrong. Reading manga and watching Anime have lots of differences and Skip Beat! definately deserve watching twice or even more times ^^
Sekai no hate de Aimashou (世界の果てで愛ましょう) is a Manga serialized in Dengeki Maoh (電撃マ王), currently chapter four has released. The general plot of the story is that a boy (yes, “he” is a boy) saved a man from outer space and the man turned the boy into a girl by using some kind of alien technology and force “her” to be his wife. Who’s the boy? His is a normal high school student who looks like a girl and is liked by his brother. Who’s the man? His is the prince of several kingdoms of the universe.

Not have heard any news of the Neon Genesis Evangelion ever after the first movie last year and when I was poking around on the net I found some beautiful scans on moe (above one, looks like the elder version of Asuka, indeed it is) and started to look for interesting stuffs. Somebody said it is a novel, no idea. Here’s the plot.
This comic is almost a year old, in internet time you could say it’s almost ancient. But I saw a PV about this comic on youtube today and was once again deeply moved by it. I had long forgotten about this comic since the first time I saw it but it’s so amazing. Breathtaking you could say. I just thought I’d share this for the unlucky few who have never seen or heard of this, shame on you =p.
Though the manga author, Yukari Higa, who seems to be a little bit lazy on the updates, the series is to be one of the worthy reading works to me. Attractive character design, simple but meaningful plot, all of these seem to be interesting enough for me to follow the updates. You can find some donwload links below.
I’ve seen this many times before but not get to know it until recent. TYPE-MOON Ace (TYPE-MOONエース), firstly published by Kadokawa Shoten (角川書店) as a Comp Ace magazine spinoff, was released on April 21st, 2008. As a late TYPE-MOON fans, I poked around lots of sites to find information on this issue but in vain partly because of the inability of my poor Japanese, and partly because the insufficient info on the web. The issue which was originally sold at 780 YEN had been overpriced in some other countries, or unavailable in some regions.
