We’ve reported that the college edition of kakifly’s Manga K-ON! will be ended in June 9, and continue with that, the high school edition of the Manga was confirmed to end on June 28 next month. The announcement was made in the July issue of Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat on Monday.

Regarding the reliability of the rumor? Very unlikely. The new Manga have been around for only one year with two storylines, there still much potential to be explored.
We are more than happy to learn that the Blu-ray/DVD of the movie of TV Anime K-ON! will be coming this summer, on July 18. With a box office revenue of 1.7 billion yen (21 million USD), K-ON! is the most successful Anime movie last year. The reason behind the success, which may hugely result in the story and character that are supported by a huge fan base. Even people who don’t usually watch Anime find themselves enjoy the series.
TV Anime Kokoro Connect announced earlier this month that the series will be aired this Summer, starting from July. The confirmation of the Anime adaptation of the original novel dated back in Fall last year. The research reveals that 37% of K-ON! fans are women while only 10% of the audience are female for Strike Witches 2.
Anime series K-ON! has just unveiled their ending theme song for the movie on the official website. With a title of Singing, the ED is quite an impressive track compared with all the songs the cute band performed. Together with the opening theme and insert track Unmei wa Endless!, the ED will be released on December 7. We have talked about the movie of the series which is coming this December, with a story around the graduate trip of the club to London, the city of music. The trailer was already out, which provides you a bit insight of how the story is going to be.
If you “happened” to find that the thumbnail of this post reminds you of K-ON!, you get totally wrong. It is about light novel series Kokoro Connect which was green-lit for Anime. One of the highlight is that the illustration of the novel has a extremely similar character design which took me a while to identify. That is because the illustrator (Horiguchi Yukiko) of the light novel happened to be the same person as the character designer of Anime K-ON!.
According to the official website of TBS Channel in Japan, an extra K-ON! Anime will be aired this November. Titled Keikaku, the extra episode seems to be an unaired episode of the second season of the TV series, which is also included in the BD/DVD of the series. The website also mentions that the extra episode has a direct connection with the K-ON! movie coming this December. From the screenshot we can see, the episode will be the discussion of the destination of the graduation trip.
