Recommended Anime of July 2012

Third week of the new season, wonder how you like the new series so far. It’s a great season and we have lots of really awesome series. After watching the first two episodes of almost each title, guess have to decide whether each of them worth our time. Most of the sequel series are above my expectation this month, like one of the favorite Rinne no Lagrange and Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. Of course, we cannot fail to mention some of those promising series like like Sword Art Online.

July 2012 New Anime Guide

Just a week before July and we are already exciting about the upcoming season, probably for months. We have around 25 new series in the Summer season, including several sequel series like one of the favorite Rinne no Lagrange, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon and Yuru Yuri, plus several quite good new original series like Sword Art Online. It could be a quite good season compared with the flood this Spring.

Rinne no Lagrange Second Season and OVA in Summer

Rinne no Lagrange Second Season and OVA in Summer

My favorite series of the winter Rinne no Lagrange just ended today in Japan, leaving much more to expect in the second part of the series. We already knew from the beginning that the TV Anime would be splited into two parts, the first part started from this winter while the second part or the second season will be aired in this July. What surprised me is the announcement made by the official website today that an OVA is about to come on June 23rd in 10 theaters in Japan.

Recommended Anime of January 2012

It’s time to make some recommendations. We have around 20 series this winter and judging from the first one or two episodes, most of them are quite above my expectation. And of course, some are way below but it is all depends on whether you like it or not. If you haven’t started to follow the new series, maybe you should check out our winter Anime list.

First Impressions: Rinne no Lagrange

Rinne no Lagrange is a colourful energetic show which is a pleasure to watch, as long as you don’t make the mistake of trying to take it too seriously. Set in the paradise that is Japan’s Kamagowa City, with sparkling oceans and white sandy beaches. We follow the story of Kyouno Madoka who mirrors the seemingly idyllic paradise with her colourful antics and happy go lucky nature.

January 2012 New Anime Guide

Over half of the Fall series came to an end and wonder how you like them before proceeding to a brand new season. We have lots of interesting series this fall, including some of the most expected series like Fate/Zero, Guilty Crown and so forth. Generally, compared with Spring and Fall season, the new series of Winter season are a bit less (but we are still going to put up over 20 series in this post), and the quality may also be understated. Probably staffs are busy for a new year, so as the rest of us. However, we are going to see some really good series this Winter. If you are ready, let’s get started.
