Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru TV Anime Announced

According to GAGAGA Bunko, the TV Anime of Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru (やはり俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっている。, My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong As I Expected) was announced. Written by Wataru Watari (渡航) and illustrated by Ponkan8 (ぽんかん⑧), the series revolves around a high school boy named Hachiman Hikigaya who has no friends but later has loads of them, male or female. Sounds like something familiar? Indeed we do have another series with a similar length of title which talks about the same thing. The series we refer to is Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai, 僕は友達が少ない) written by Yomi Hirasaka’s (平坂 読). To point out, this is actually not a copyright issue since Mr.Hirasaka actually made a recommendation on the paper wrap of the novel. Guess Mr.Hirasaka want to make it as the spin-off of his novel.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru TV Anime Announced

The series actually received lots of attentions on 2ch and fans left messages on the official website requesting an Anime adaptation. And here it is. The series has a short title and you can either call it OreGirl (俺ガイル, OreGairu) or Hamachi (はまち) according to the author. Despite the fact the short title sounds like the author were making difficult choice between Oreimo and Haganai, the series does has a lot connection with the latter besides the title, as well as the fact that the cute girl in the illustration above looks familiar to you. For example, similar to Haganai, there is also a male character that looks like a girl. Well, we saw and will continue to see lots of familiar things these days, as well as lengthy titles. However, as long as you like it, it doesn’t really matter. Take a breath and enjoy the show. We will bring more updates in the future.
