Yuru Yuri Second Season Announced5

According to the stream program on Nico Nico, the second season of TV Anime series Yuru Yuri was announced. Meanwhile, the official website also made the updated and revealed the announcement. With a new title of Yuru Yuri ♪♪, the series is undergo its way to trace the famous K-ON!!‘s double exclamation mark and story line, guess we will see a movie in a while.

It is totally not a surprise, we have always known that it is going to come. Also the first key visual art for the upcoming new season will be revealed in the March issue of Comic Yuri Hime. Thus, we could expect that at least the new season won’t come until next April. But it’s always good to have it in mind that we are going to have some extra fun next year. Stay tuned and we will bring more updates on the date and other information.

I enjoyed the anime, i thought their wasn't going to be a second season. Yuru Yuri was more fun to watch then Lucky Star.

One season was more than enough for me. I enjoyed the characters, but the dialogue was way too childish and cliche in my opinion.

Completely agree with you . There are tons of anime that deserve a new season more than this one .

Correct. In fact, out of curiosity and prompting from readers, I just finished watching both seasons of To Aru Majutsu no Index as a comparison of sorts to one of my all time favorites: To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Now, I don't want to rant about my thoughts (I'll be creating an "ask the commentors" impressions/poll post on the subject soon), but seeing that there was not just a second season to Index but also a movie, I'm convinced that there are plenty of other series more deserving of a sequel.
