It’s Here! It’s Confirmed! Zero no Tsukaima 4th Season Coming January 20122

Though I have already expected it happen, it’s just let me feel exciting. It’s finally here. The 4th season of TV Anime series Zero no Tsukaima (ゼロの使い魔, The Familiar of Zero) will air in January 2012, that is this Winter! It is probably one of the best news of the month. Noted that the below source scan has some kind of printing mistake. It should be 2012 instead of 2011. Announcement was also made on the official website today, indicating that the series will be soon coming.

Personally I love the series and it’s the only light novel that I actually follow. And you should probably read it. Have talked about some predictions abou what the story will be of the coming new season a month ago, even though there were some confusion about the date of airing and the so-called selected episodes which is schedule to air this Fall. In my understanding, a totally recap of previous episodes may be necessary for fans to recall what and where the story suspended last time and the last time is three years ago.

However, as we talked about before, the TV Anime of the series may ended in a way that is different from the original light novel which still has two volumes to go. If you still remember, in the Anime, Saito lost his laptop while entering into the crystal ball thing that Louise created in the second episode of the first season. While in the novel, the laptop stays with Saito and he even uses it to surf the web and receive Email from his mother. Just some detail parts and it appears to have little impact on the overall plot. The conclusion is, 13 episodes is way less than necessary to cover the final part of the series. But they said it’s the final season, so, it could either be around 26 episodes, or simply a 2 hour movie (that’s not a season I assume). But any way, I just love the series and sad to see it ends in such a hurry.
