Zetman TV Anime to be Aired April 2012

Sorry if the thumbnail of the post brings you any misunderstandings, this is not a series about cute girls, and quite on the contrary, cool men. According to the cover scan of the latest volume (16th) of Manga Zetman, the TV Anime of the series will be aired in next Spring, April 2012. Zetman is a supernatural Manga by Masakazu Katsura (桂 正和), and it gives me a feeling of the Japanese and Anime version Batman, Spiderman or whatever you name it. Well, I am to say that I prefer Iron Man a lot. You can get a brief idea of how the series looks like on it’s official website if you haven’t read the Manga before. Also if you take a look at the rest of the Young Jump’s official website, you will find lots of interesting Manga and some of them are more or less ready for the next Animation project. Take a look at Kaichu (カイチュー!), a pretty interesting Manga about archery which talks about a boy and…a boy. A short Anime version is also ready for your review.

Back to Zetman. The story summary: The story starts off with a face-off between two rival heroes, ZET and Alphasz, and then traces their origins – Jin Kanzaki, a young man with the ability to transform into a superhuman being known as ZET, and Kouga Amagi, a young man with a strong sense of justice who uses technology to fight as Alphasz. The fates of these two men and those around them intertwine as they fight to protect mankind and destroy monstrous abominations known as Players, who ironically are the creations of the Amagi Corporation, the company founded by Kouga’s grandfather, Mitsugai Amagi.
